09-12 OEM 19" Sport Ray's Wheels in Good Condition
Hey all,
I'm looking to track down another set of 19" Sport Ray's from the 09-12 370z model years. I've already recently purchased one set from this forum (seller: "1st"), but need another to complete a full set of 9" fronts for my 2014 Altima which won't fit a 10" rear, and it would be useless even if it could. Must be in good condition with ZERO CURBRASH in OEM silver-ish finish, no painted or aftermarket finishing work of any kind. I'm ok with a few small imperfections (I understand these are used wheels that are 3-6 years old), but overall I'm looking for clean examples with a good overall finish. I will consider sets that have cosmetic issues on the rear wheels since I won't be using those anyways, and I'd prefer NO tires since it would just make shipping more difficult/costly and I can't use them anyway (but will still consider it). If by a miracle somebody wants to sell just the fronts or even straight trade a pair of fronts for the pair of rears I have in my possession, I'd certainly be open to that as well! :tiphat: |

I'm nearing having a deal completed with "edzilla123". He's looking into final shipping rates early next week at which point we will close the deal.
Thanks everyone for the PM offers, at this time I probably don't need any others and will update when the deal is done. |
Edzilla123 shipped out the wheels just a bit ago and I should have them by around Monday, so assuming I don't have any issues with the wheels we can consider this a done deal and I'm no longer in the market for a set of OEM Ray's.
Thank you everybody for the offers! |

I don't have much planned... these wheels, got in on the Teana light group buy, shopping for coilovers, and might get a couple other small items. There isn't much on the market as you know. ;) |
What will you do with the set of 4 rears?

You interested? :icon17: |
Yeah I am. Will they fit on the front? I'd be using them as a set

Do you currently have the base 18's or something else? There is a very slight chance I will keep the rears to put on my G35 coupe, but I probably won't as it already has the 19" OEM Rays that came stock on it which are nice enough. |
People on here ride square. Yes the 19x10 will fit up front.

I was pretty sure, the guy I bought the second set from had 19x10 +0's with a little negative camber. The OEM Ray rear would have a bit over an inch of additional clearance, so it sounds like it should fit well and be able to run a decent size tire without needing a ton of negative camber. |
Sounds good. Let me know if you sell em

I just picked up the wheels from the UPS store, I haven't had a chance to open them up yet. Once I'm able to verify their condition and can clean and wax them to take pictures I will post the square set of 10" rears for sale here and on a couple other forums.

Are you interested in trading the two rears you bought from 1st for two fronts?
They're not immaculate by any means, but I have four of them and could probably pick out the best two (at least one would not be acceptable to you). If they are not up to your standards (after you see pics), I could have them refinished to OEM like new condition. Let me know your thoughts :tiphat: |

At this point I have a matching set of 4 in fairly pristine shape, and while it wouldn't hurt to have a couple extra's for spares I don't really absolutely need them as buying a single wheel off eBay or whatever for an inflated price is always a possibility if one sustains damage or I want to have an active spare with tire mounted. If I were to trade I'd need them to be really immaculate. The problem with refinishing them is that even though they look great next to eachother, when you put them next to OEM finish wheels it can be easy to spot even a very slight difference in shade/reflective quality, etc. Of course there's a chance the new finish is a perfect match, but I'd have no way to guarantee it prior to closing the deal which would put one of us on the hook for the refinishing costs. I appreciate the offer but I don't think it'd be in either of our best interest. :tiphat: |
As the previous post eluded to I got the 2nd set picked up and brought home and initial inspection done. They are in good shape but DIRTY! I had cleaned and waxed the set from 1st but they were already immaculate when I got them, so that was probably a waste of time. :icon17:
I've got the front 2 from this purchase cleaned up and they look good. The only real damage was a small nick in the outer wheel face as edzilla123 had shown me prior to purchase (probably from improper tire mounting, it looks like), although one of them has slight wear marks on the face from shipping right where the spoke V starts (from rubbing against the box)... I would have preferred that didn't happen but I'm being real nitpicky, I'm sitting 3 feet from them right now and can't even see it. There's a few finish imperfections I didn't know about, but not a big deal as it's minor and you can only expect so much from used wheels. They are nice wheels, just have to apply wax to them and get them installed when the tires (Michelin AS3 245/40/19) come in later this week. I've still got to clean and wax all 4 10" rears, I'm hoping to get that done tonight and get pictures so I can post my 'for sale' ad by tomorrow. Start circling vultures. :happydance: |
