So ive been told by a lot of my friends that Chevrolet was bought by Japan. Is this true ?

Since GM is a publicly held company, no one can just buy the company - they would have to buy up the shares of stock. That would definitely be headline news and I can't find anything about a JP buyout.

Well I was told that they are making new cars to be sold in Japan, that kept saying they saw commercials of it. Idk maybe they are crazy thanks guys

Not exactly the same as a Japanese company buying Chevy/GM.

I haven't seen anything about Chevy making a vehicle for the JP market but I don't keep up with such things.

IDK about Japan, but I know Chevy sales nearly as many cars in China as in the U.S.
