2015 GTRs discounted $16,500

Talk about taking a hit, it's still 2014 and the car has not even left the lot yet.

2015 Nissan GT-R in Fontana, CA | Fontana Nissan

They have 3 in stock as of today when I received the email, I think that people are changing direction lately, there are several other options out there with that kind of money. GTRs did sell like crazy though, they are all over the place

DavidZ370 12-03-2014 11:30 PM

Id get GTR Over any car that's around that price

Here is a short explanation of what is going on

Its because there is a 10k dealer cash incentive on both 2014 and 2015s. So the discount is only 6500 out of the dealers pocket which is on par with these Cars going for invoice the last few model years. Its just Nissan isbgiving the dealers 10k for each the sell and some dealers are more passing this money to the customer to clear inventory as the 2014 2015 and now 2016 arriving in a few months is in essence the same car and inventory is starting to stack up a bit to do an imbalance in supply and demand

2014s have been going for up to 20k off since august. The 2015 just joined the incentive party this week. I made a post about it in August that led to Nissan doubling their monthly sales just because of the attention it received and we had over 30 members become new owners in a little over a months time

It's a great opportunity for new buyers but its crippling the used market on newer GTRs

DLSTR 12-04-2014 03:29 AM

Time to buy used and deal hard. Especially for a 12/13.

those are now mid to low 70K cars

I sold my 2012 4 days before the 2014 incentive hit so do that math

its not pretty on the used GTR market right now.. these things had been solid resale since 2009 up until just this summer which shocked a lot of owners

Im just glad I have a 100% depreciation poof car for the rest of my life lol

Ive got access to a bunch of these discounted 2015's if anyone on here truly wants to pull the trigger on one. best deal yet is a 106K and some change regal red 2015 ( thats the $4K red option with the real gold flake in it) for 89,900

RicerX 12-04-2014 02:02 PM

What is the cheapest you've seen, MC? There are still 2013s floating around the lots. If they're discounting the 2015s that deeply already you'd think that the 2013s sitting out there would go for a song.

So tempted to cancel my tesla order and get one

zvez 12-04-2014 03:48 PM

never warmed up to the looks of the GTR, seems a bit overpriced at the original price and apparently that's the case since they're discounted NEXT model years cars substantially.

Do it!

Zoren 370 12-04-2014 03:56 PM

I'll probably lease one if I could. Lol

ssmoked 12-04-2014 10:26 PM

I just went on autotrader, they are discounting 20,000$ on 2014s. There are still 4 new 2013s left, I wonder how much more they are discounting them compared to the 14's

Zoren 370 12-04-2014 11:06 PM

For this money C7 ZO6 is possibly killing the GTR sales.
GTR platform is almost 6 years old.
But still I would love to get my hands on it one day.

victort 12-04-2014 11:15 PM

i've seen some as high as 40,000 off. rather get a Porsche GT3 in this price range. WAY better looking than a GTR

A nice used one, a new GT3 is still a good bit above 100K. Add a few options and its well north of 100K. I've looked.

BigT 12-05-2014 10:15 AM

Thats because nissan increased the price so much since inception. 70k brand new in 2008.

This Chart Shows How The Nissan GT-R's Price Has Skyrocketed 35% In Five Years

GTR's are a super awesome car, but it wouldn't be my first choice car to purchase if I had that kind of cash.
