on my 09 I just did midpipe and exhaust on my 12 just midpipe this car because of the history of it and the collectors status Im not touching it (well other than putting in the OEM JDM clear corners lol) comparison wise its a bit early as i only have 300 miles on it but the ride is much more stiff.. the steering is lighter and when you change lanes or take an off ramp the nose turn in feels more precise and like a direct movement power has a different personality too. the larger turbos move the power up in the rev range and give it a different curve so the acceleration is more like a swelling feeling than the jolting burst of the other ones.. thats about all I got for now.. I got a autocross in a couple weeks so will know more then Quote:

Do you know if the "Litchfield suspension package" is a worthy kit for standard GT-R's? |
I know its really popular with the UK guys and they always seem to do good work and offer top of the line components for the GTR. I dont have any personal experience with it but ive heard nothing but positive reviews

Awesome! Thanks. I'll do more research but I wanted to ask an owner. At least you are in that society to know about it. I know nothing about GT-R Aftermarket. |

thanks! oh it was great yesterday the nismo modifications make the car feel like a 3800lb Go- kart where the size is still there but understeer and body rolled have been removed so you just point and shoot steer http://i1379.photobucket.com/albums/...ps06c667cc.jpg |
Watching MC steer through the cones through the GO PRO, it's obvious that the GT-R suspension had been perfectly tuned. Point and shootability of this car is amazing.
:worship: |
yeah and on my past GTRs I would sometimes come into a slalom a bit hot and them being decreasing distance I would have to feather the gas which ideally you set a speed on entry and carry through. well not knowing what to expect from the NISMO I did that by habit and going back and looking at the video Im like man I could have been totally flat and picked up a tenth or so right there.. I think the best example of how much this chassis is improved is at the mid point of the course when im heading back up the track. there I was totally flat out in 2nd gear just steering through.
on this car where the weld it they inject an adhesive there too and that alone adds almost 10% more rigidity to the chassis then you have the ultra stiff suspension and then hollow anti sways probably wont have a full on track event until the spring so next up is some acceleration testing on the drag strip |
|
You launched it!! Car is worth 50% less now, just give it to me. :p
|
doing one last test run before the drag strip tomorrow to see how it does traction wise on cool pavement
no wheel spin at all just hooks and goes |
|
|
Very impressive!
Browsing those GTRLife threads makes me feel very poor. LOL |
Must be nice. Guess Nissan doesn't give a crap about us folk who have been in a Z since 1986. Figures. I have NO luck. LOL

First Z, 1974 1/2 260z back in 1986. First Car, 1969 VW Beetle. My best friends 1980 280zx with a fade paint job. We were always in his backyard shop working on Z's and Beetles. Both paint jobs were done in his shop. Good times.

thank you no the GTR NISMO is GT understeers fairly bad in the game worse than the standard GTR in game.. where that word practically doesnt exist for this car in real life |
