That being said, I do like how she curves at all the right angles... and the headlights impart a more sinister look (in a good way).

Still... I can't get over how the miata has that "face" look.

What kind of HP num and motor they doin?

I really like Miatas, super fun cars to drive

No 100% confirmation from Mazda yet, but some rumors are saying it might add a turbo this generation, so I would bet 220HP probably.

ive seen a few different versions of that car that were so much better looking then that. :shakes head:

it's ok... much better than previous versions... but not enough power and i don't care for the taillights

Only thing I dont like so far is the steering wheel, still using that large round one from current gen.

I have never been fond of the Miata but this...this is hot. Well done. Now...make a V6 I can turbo to 600hp and I'll buy one! LOL.

...just when I thought Miata couldn't look more sissie. Argh! It is a cute little bugger. Hope quality is better than last version. My mx5 interior self destructed about a year after I bought it. Also hope the motor is more refined than a truck motor this round. I'd be hard pressed to ever buy another Mazda after two very bad experiences with Mazda products. Both were lemons.

IMO this looks way better than the 370zr ....way better than the hideous 350zr which looks like they just chopped off the roof. Lines are elegantly proportioned, kinda looks like a mini Jag f-type. Great job Mazda now for the 4th gen RX7 please...

I bet its gonna be a 4 banger just to stay within the price range of low 30k's.

There's not even a question of it being an i4 in the car and it, typically, starts in the low $20k's.

I cant help but see a mix of a S2K/Z4 everytime I look at it. The side view looks good especially with the stock side blades that are placed there. The rear end does nothing for me though. I feel like Mazda went and took a bit of styling characteristics from a few manufacturers and molded them into the new Miata kind of a "FrankenCar". Im sure itll be fun to drive and make for a fun track car but I could never see myself going from a 370z to a Miata.

Yeah, I won't be in the market for 3-4 years so I'm hoping to decide between this and the new Z. That is, assuming that I fit in them!

Its a Mazda... it will have 50hp less than it should have. I've owned a few Mazda's before, fun to drive, but I remember one journalist stating that every Mazda is lacking just one thing.... an extra 50hp... which is so true.

My guess, it will have 160hp.

Not a fan. The car looks sleepy. Plus I have a penis, so I won't be in a Miata anytime soon.

Here's a one year ownership review. Seems like a great car.

I just drived one last weekend.

It's a tiny sportscar.

The shifter and clutch are sooo much better than z's stock.

Just as people say, very fun to drive

It is slower than the z but there are many details that feel much better designed than the z... really makes me want buying one!

I agree, the RF is tempting and so sexy, I wish Mazda made an RF Mazdaspeed with turbos at least 250hp then I'm in...or just bring back the RX7 damit!

huh.. i saw dat dey're now offering with da retractable hard tops. wish dey'd figure out da offsets and wheels for dis ride.... everything else looks fine except for the flimsy wheels and tires. wtf.. it looks HORRIBLE in person imho.. da wheels dat is when looked at from an angle.

same goes with the BRZ/FRS.. horrible wheels and tires fitment in stock form.
