You know when people say the GT-R drives itself it's because they have little to no experience driving any car at the limit. AWD just keeps you at the limit a hair longer then RWD adding some stability in the most dangerous of moves that you would never accomplish in RWD. but you still have to know what you doing in an all wheel drive with this much power. This isn't a 328 IX. Lol.

GODZILLA RULES!!! BOW DOWN!!!:worship:

They feel like RWD cars most of the time while driving, even when pushing hard.

well isn't the GT-R mostly RWD until it starts slipping and it jumps to AWD? I clearly remember the rear tires wearing down ALOT faster than the front tires.

parents were going to buy a GT-R nismo.

our dealership(who was exclusive GT-R dealer untilll some months ago) said that the nismo demo model is coming out to them in october. the arrangement was that they could use it for around a month and half and then we would get it.

We sell our GT-R....we pay a deposit....and now like three weeks back they suddenly go "oh it's coming out in end 2015 the latest maybe even 2016". ofcourse we are pissed but their attitude is basically "**** you go die in a ditch here is your money". we are planning to sue them. for lying about the release date. we have a contract signed with delivery date end of september. so yeah. these guys are screwed but then again. they lost their GT-R exclusivity.

this ******** is why my parents are looking at a vette Z06. but ofcourse chevrolet hasn't talked about release date yet and we don't even know WHEN they will come to europe and how many will be delivered. :shakes head: C7 is no option as my parents refuse to drive stick after the GT-R. and I don't think importing an american model is a solution either since the speedometer would be in miles unless chevy would be kind enough to put a KM/H speedo in it(since the C7 speedo is the same and that one is out here)

Wow that is soooo dumb. And yeah I think you are right about the RWD normal bias. I'm sure MC knows.

last i looked, most cars here in the US have both KM/H and MPH so i dont see why they couldnt import one aside from maybe difference in emissions standards?

Soooo turn OP video into a bitch about how rich your parents are and how pissy you and they can't be the cool kids on the block on the release date?

MC, thanks for the vid:tup:

:iagree: The system is designed to be all wheel drive only when the traction control start to sense slippage. Unlike most other all wheel drive cars, the GTR, G 37 and the M series all have this type of system.

Random thought.
Cheap way to get GTR style performance
, find a G37x sport used and FI that bitch.

Looking at the pictures of the Z06 of that carshow thing it seems to only have miles on it.

personally I know the GT-R nismo is fast and all and a great deal for how amazing it handles and kills almost everything else but it still looks like the GT-R a 7-8 year old model. just with LEDs and some black and red bumper mods. it looks abit like the varis bodykit.

GT-R is the ONLY true foreign muscle-car. Its Boxy look is it's charm. The only thing it needs now is a wheel refresh and some minor interior re-appointments @ the dash. Over time, the nose and length needs some correcting, but it's fine. This car should evolve like the 911 did, very few changes over a long period of time.

I thought the boxy form was it's charm.

now we are on year 7 almost year 8 and its just. I got tired of the look. when I first saw the nismo I was all like "dude that looks awesome".

aaand then I saw it in videos like the one in OP and now I am like dissapointed and not wowed anymore. it looks like a 2010 GT-R with a bodykit. I know it's fast, i know its great. but just I don't like it anymore. Mostly because I had to see a 2009 model for like 5 years.

and then I sat in the C7 and I realised how shitty the GT-R's dashboard/interior is compared to it. cooled seats not in an mercedes oh god. plus I find the look more special than the GT-R.

but then again this is belgium where muscle cars don't exist.
