Yeah. But for maximum lol, China traffic cameras take the cake. Less "WTF?" than Russian dash cams, but some of the most retarded accidents you'll ever see. :rofl2:

Yep, that's a classic. It needs to be set to Yackity Sax.

Tazicon 05-01-2014 09:04 AM

It amazes me every time I see a Supercar crash of this sort..............

Haboob 05-01-2014 09:07 AM

Yeah, at our monthly C&C we now have Scottsdale PD sitting out there making sure no one exhibits speed. It's kind of a bummer, because we never get to hear the Enzos, McLarens, etc. at high RPM anymore. :(

I can understand why, but then again... I miss the sounds.

Is there one done like that? :icon17: I typically don't turn on the audio at work, so I don't even know what song it was set to.

Yeah, that's the problem. We want to hear the unobtanium cars get on it a little. The cops would probably let that slide. Then some douchtard in a FBody does a burnout all the way up to the light pole he hits and now everybody has to idle out.

coffeebob 05-01-2014 09:11 AM

I haven't even made the effort once I saw a video and "heard" how the 1.6L's sound.

I actually watched a race with the sound off this year. I just turned on some music instead

I need to get a race from years prior and just play that in the background :icon17:

Chuck33079 05-01-2014 09:16 AM

You know we're doomed when fuel economy and noise are things the F1 rulemakers actually care about. I miss the 1500hp turbo 6 era where the plan was "**** it, turn up the boost." Same with the insane group B rally cars.

Cmike2780 05-01-2014 09:18 AM

Meh, happens all the time. TC off + Mid-engine supercar+ stupid driver= crash

Haboob 05-01-2014 09:20 AM

I've heard in the past, that Diablo's are notorious for losing the rear end super easily. Guess the truth is in the pudding here, no?

I've heard the same. Apparently everything before Audi bought them is awful to drive.

The Diablo I think is worse than most, or of all.

Chuck33079 05-01-2014 09:25 AM

That era when they had figured out how to make tons of power, but before they realized it might be a good idea to start making them AWD?

Yeah.

Chuck33079 05-01-2014 09:27 AM

Supercar makers took their time realizing that the guy who had the money to buy their cars was probably not the guy with the skills needed to drive their cars.

No kidding. However, those owners are also to blame for not spending some couch change on a driving class...

Chuck33079 05-01-2014 09:47 AM

Hell, driving lessons are FUN. Especially the ones where you use their cars. Getting to drive high dollar stuff in anger and then give them back is awesome.

I like DEs in my cars so I know how to do drive them. Switching to mid engine took some time, then when I got a rear engine it took time as well. Going back and forth between the two can be difficult as well.

Chuck33079 05-01-2014 10:12 AM

That's fun too. I just enjoyed handing the keys back and not worrying about paying for maintenance and consumables.

I don't think it's just about the RWD with stupid amounts of power. The Diablo is notorious because along with the RWD and stupid amount of power, you have no traction control, a mid-engine layout, a car tuned to end closer towards over-steer and toolbag owners that want to show-off. Supercar manufacturers have understood this for years. Which is why most supercars these days are filled with every electronic nanny know to man along with automatic.....everything. The Mclaren P-1 or LaFerrari may set blazing track times, but for most owners, they'll sit in Sunday traffic or in front of a classy venue for others to be envious over. .....and then you'll see said owner "prove" he's the shyt by doing a burn-out and fail miserably. What's more, most of these duchebags wouldn't mind rolling a Lambo just to tell their friends they rolled a Lambo.
