ugh, PD on a whole car is for Civics and Neons. Use it to accent the car, sure. But not the whole car...

Tazicon 04-07-2014 12:36 PM

Way to ruin a beautiful work of art...................

speedfreek 04-07-2014 12:42 PM

Looks like this was done for the looks. As I am guessing the hood is CF and they didn't want to hide that fact.

But I have been contemplating plasti dipping my whole car. Not particularly because I like the look, but to protect the paint while on the track. The only drawback is when removing the stuff it is no fun getting into all the spots the paint goes.

kenchan 04-07-2014 12:42 PM

lol.. was the car stolen?

IDZRVIT 04-07-2014 12:42 PM

Needs a coat of wax to make it shiney.

FPenvy 04-07-2014 12:44 PM

you realize someone with a GTR most likely had it professionally wrapped and not plastidipped right?

at my cars and coffee this past weekend there was a birhgt matte blue wrapped GTR that looked amazing.

just a thought.

Correct. Hood and trunk were CF.

370zproject 04-07-2014 01:02 PM

would look better if he/she has not dipped/wrapped the side vents

damian_mb 04-07-2014 01:05 PM

I prefer a PD'd / wrapped car over a riced out or over stanced car anyday. Just sayin

mrthomr 04-07-2014 01:15 PM

I'll take a finger nail to it next time I see it to determine whether it's dipped or wrapped. j/k

No balls! Dooo it.

Waiz 04-07-2014 07:05 PM

Matte black is so cliche, I have literally seen 3 Camry's in the last week with it

PD or not, it needs some aftermarket wheels ASAP

Z-Girl 12 04-07-2014 07:06 PM

lmfao!

ElVee 04-07-2014 08:06 PM

I actually kinda like the look of this after a second or third look, and spending some time with it. In fact, do the hood.

Now, this doesn't work with just any car; in fact, most cars are still going to look like sh!t. And everyone is just going to think you went and primered the car like a hick. But this kinda looks like a batmobile homage.

Or just go f-type please. :)

(btw, looks decent indeed. and with plastidip, you can change that around for new stripes/looks regularly...if that's what that is.)

Caustic 04-07-2014 10:18 PM

That GTR looks like a deep fried turd. Terrible look.

Roddy1 04-11-2014 10:06 AM

that makes me sad.
