I came close to buying one for the winter (wanted something with AWD). I noticed there was a metric ****-ton of them on used car lots. It gave me a bad vibe that I should probably pass.

Exactly, current 2014 juke rs nismo and z nismo have same paint color scheme. So why not put these seats on their sports halo sports car.

Probably because the seats would make the Nismo a $47k car. Then people would complain even more about this gen Z pricing. I'm sure the Z35 will be a more competitive vehicle.

I'm very excited about the next gen Nismo Z. I feel like its going to be a baby GT3. And I would LOVEEEE those seats holy damn.

My thought exactly. For the 2014 Nismo Z they swapped in a better steering wheel and optional Bose stereo. Why can't we get optional Recaro seats like the Boss Mustang?!?! The Juke Nismo RS comes with them....:shakes head:

Footloose301 03-07-2014 05:23 AM

....and before anyone mentions it, yes, I know the BLOSE stereo was optional in the 2013 Nismo as well.

i just like the Juke seats, everything else looks silly.

MagmaRed370 05-07-2014 10:24 AM

I just want to know if anyone has actually tried to swap the seats into a 370...

13magmared 05-07-2014 10:26 AM

I really want to find a set...

MSRP on these seats are $4K each a few guys looked into swapping them into a GTR but it doesnt seem to be a simple bolt in swap

they are nice though for sure.

I think most trade out for more interior room.

Doesnt the CX 5 handle better?

A nurse at my job just bought herself the NISMO RS and she said she wasnt a big fan of the seats because she couldnt get in them very good and they were too hard for her. I told her I would trade my sport package black leather seats w/ seat warmers for hers. I gave her a ride and she agreed to it :). Not sure when the it'll happen but I hope it isnt too hard of a swap.

Looks as if they're going to be doing just that in the new 2015 Nismo 370z.

I would agree whole heartedly, however, in recent years most manufacturers are saving the rare, limited edition models for when the car nears it redesign phase to spark sales. The Corvette is a good reference, the ZL1 on the C6 corvette came out when it neared its extinction, along with the various other models, i.e. Grand sport, etc.

Limeybastard 05-16-2014 02:20 PM

It was like that even back in the good old days. They lined the last production vehicles with a lot of goodness. Aka end of line production.
