No I think that is either how much they took out or how much it weighed after they took all the stuff out.

frost 08-30-2009 01:41 PM

its the weight after removal right?

bigaudiofanat 08-30-2009 01:48 PM

Might be

frost 08-30-2009 01:49 PM

So I guess what togo is saying is, with the stock weight, we would know how much they dropped?

kdo2milger 08-30-2009 01:51 PM

wow

money to burn

MC 09-01-2009 03:25 AM

stock GTR weighs about 3830

i got a lighter exhaust and midpipe and with a 1/8 tank of gas and me in it ( i weigh about 135) the car weighed 3950 on the scales at the dragstrip

but yeah this GOTO racing GT-R is sick. We are one of their main sponsors and are working with them very closely to help them take this car to some higher level racing classes

here are some hi res desktops for this car for you guys

I don't think he has oil temp problem. :icon18:

maggot head 10-08-2009 12:45 AM

I think it would make more sense to start with a 370z than a gtr when making such race car. The Z would be so much lighter. Could have the same power. The gtr strikes me as an odd choice to make into such a race car. For the price and work put into it, I cant see it being competitive against other cars with similar costs and work.

Trips 10-08-2009 01:37 AM

Stripped it down to it's birthday suit! damn that was hard to see.

molamann 10-08-2009 10:44 AM

Wait, I thought the GT-R of all cars would have a dual exhaust set up?

MC 10-08-2009 03:21 PM

yeah for some reason it doesnt. and i cant think of an aftermarket exhaust for it that is.......the stock exhaust is pretty restrictive just a midpipe will get you almost 20hp
