I'd love a GT-R but probably will wait until the kids are out of the house and I am semi-retired. I'd want to spend my life on the track if I got one.

Just make it curvier. It looks like the box a supercar comes in. Make it pretty and make it sound better. Stock it sounds like a Dyson.

I've almost convinced my GF to buy a BRZ.

The sad one was an AMS Alpha 9 or so, IIRC, that blew while racing a 2JZGTE powered 240.

There is a market for them and the market needed a bit of a shake up which they seem to have done. I'd still take my 2010 used Z over a loaded new BRZ but I'd point my gf or kids to a BRZ.

It will be her first car that isn't a **** box. First manual transmission, first rwd. I'm glad it's underpowered. Learn how to drive before you step up to something fast. It's the perfect entry level sports car.

Phase one of the plan is to get her to buy the car. I figure she'll have it for a couple years before outgrowing it. I've talked her into getting a clearbra installed. I'll do all the maintenance and buy her some mods for it. That way I know how well it's been taken care of.

Phase two- buy myself a perfectly maintained BRZ in three years with 30k miles on it for a $15k daily driver and build the motor in the Z.

Haven't watched the GT Academy. Honestly, I thought it was going to be just another reality tv thing but it is actually kind of interesting.

Go to google, click play (on top) then youtube. See if that gets by the firewall.
