That feeling when you are the only who has stated a pickup truck for one of your dream cars.

Rooster89 08-14-2013 08:49 AM

Its not a normal pickup, its a raptor! so it is entirely justified. :ugh2:

Those are fun to jump on a stadium truck course.

That's the only time I've ever enjoyed driving a truck.

Otherwise, I dislike them completely.

Haboob 08-14-2013 09:04 AM

...the Raptors do look the part though when done right.

Rooster89 08-14-2013 09:07 AM

I do a lot of outdoorsy stuff, so I have would have plenty uses for a pickup. And a few mods to a raptor can make it one of the best off-road trucks there is. Don't get me wrong, I love sports cars too. Thats why in my original post I put a truck, track monster, and dd dream cars.

ZBro16 08-14-2013 09:11 AM

I want a GT-R (2012+) and I would love to buy new, but will likely buy preowned. If my goals come to fruition, 5 years is a perfect timeframe, and I may be able to swing keeping my Z as a daily, which is why I'm only going bolt on mods and a tune and enjoying it. It will be paid off by then (as well as my Mazda) so we shall see what happens. I need a not-a-townhome house first.

I do like the raptor a lot. Its bad @ss looking, only thing is that here in good ol' south florida, I see A LOT of them. More than 370Z's actually.

My next dream car came earlier than expected. I got a '14 Grand Cherokee SRT last month and it is even better than I thought it could be. Makes the Z feel a little slow ;) For some reason I've always liked the SRT Jeep since it came out, but now that is has more towing, more power, and a more refined interior, I couldn't pass it up. I just went into the showroom to look at the new Vipers.

zguynate 09-03-2013 11:28 AM

My dream car is a GTR. However there is a good chance Ill never own one, at least not for the next 20-25 years lol. Im getting married and should be looking at having kids in the next 3 or so years.

Realistically, Id like to pay off the 370, mod the balls off of it, then buy a Z35 (depending on what Nissan does with it) in the next 5 years. Id also like to import a s30 from Japan. All of which are highly obtainable :)

I have the same plan.

Haboob 09-03-2013 03:03 PM

Minivan.

Can't wait. :excited:

DLSTR 09-03-2013 03:48 PM

GTR / New Cayman-S / or some semi exotic sedan like the new Maserati Ghibli. For the most part in reach(2010 GTR) etc. Still love the Z and there is no rush at all. Im still very impressed with the Z and the package of capability it represents at its price!!!

The others I like but as they might be faster, that does not mean they are 'better'. Its all personal anway.

Nailzs 09-03-2013 04:08 PM

A 1940 Ford coupe.

smart man

people who make a lot don't necessarily have to show it off by driving a "baller" vehicle

dtul 09-04-2013 02:22 AM

Mine is a GTR, which may very well be possible next summer. In the future probably whichever Lamborghini replaces the Gallardo, which I also can see on the horizon within 4-5 years. I still gotta buy a Z though, so I guess that is my dream car for the future. Well until I actually get one in a few weeks.

///PureSwank 09-04-2013 02:47 AM

My wife is 28 and makes 320k on average and cares less about money. She tells me I can have it all!! lol What do I do with it....**** nothing lololol. Spend like an average joe jajaja

What she's bought for me is another subject lol. I want a couple dream cars. AMS GTR and UGR LP670-4.

Funny thing is we are both Mexican Americans and grew up broke as f@ck!!!

No, but it is fun! I love the double takes people give me in the SRT. Some just think it's a Grand Cherokee, but a few others know what it is. I think it's a bit of a "baller" vehicle because it's absolutely unnecessary if ya know what it is...but if ya don't, it's just another Jeep.
And if your passion and hobby is cars, then it's more about your own driving experience from point A to B than trying to show off in a "baller" vehicle. I believe we all have dream cars in mind not to show off, but to have the possibility of someday experiencing those cars for what they are and the excitement they provide to us, as enthusiasts. A Honda Accord provides me zero excitement; that's why I would never drive one. Hell, my daily is a '94 240SX (sometimes only 1 headlight pops up, sometimes the radio doesn't work) and I keep driving it because it is still a fun driving experience!

RoshDawg 09-11-2013 09:56 AM

A 2016 GT2 RS! That's a pretty penny though. For the foreseeable future I'm fully satisfied with what I've got.

7speed 09-12-2013 01:20 PM

Maserati Ghibli would be nice.

///PureSwank 09-12-2013 01:41 PM

LP670-4 with a liberty walk body kit.

Or an AMS/T1/Jotech built gtr

911 gt2

dAvenue 09-13-2013 11:18 AM

My next dream car is the GTR. When I'm fortunate enough to own one, I'm going to mod the hell out of it. I talk so much about it that even my wife knows what's up.
