'12 Lotus Evora
Doesn't seem to get exceptionally high marks but looks sweet and can be used as a typical daily car. Mileage (if it really even matters) is pretty exceptional as well. Anyone have any thoughts on this one?
Not exactly looking to ditch or replace the Z. But if it happened to sway me enough I might consider it. Tell me why you would or would not consider this one. All opinions welcome. Thanks! |
I love the way they look. I honestly do. But I'm a big fatty, so there was no chance I could own one.
It's not necessarily as fast as its competition in the price range (vettes, porsches, etc), but it'd probably be as fast as you need a car to go. It's a pretty unique and beautiful car to look at. I don't know if conditions have improved, but I have friends who own older Lotuses and have trouble finding shops to work on them, and when they find them, they charge an arm and a leg. But if cost of maintenance isn't a big issue, I say go for it. |
Sweet cars from a looks standpoint and definitely have the rarity factor in their favour. My concerns would be lack of power for the money, reliability, and maintenance costs.
