The best colors are JSB, the orange, Torch red and black.

That Z06 is exactly what I'd get color wise.

I wish the Grand Sport had the motor of the Z06. I like the targa tops. I guess they lose a lot of structural strength when they are targa topped and that is why Chevy decided to go hardtop on Z06 and ZR1. The 2015 Vette looks good though. If they have a 2015 Grand Sport with 500+ HP I'll go that way. Until then I'll enjoy my 370Z and 50th Anniversary Special Edition Vette. I'd gladly trade off the Z and the older vette for a 500 HP C7.

Well then, maybe not ....

Congrats on your Vette !!!!

Unknown - I was contemplating a GTR also but here is why I went with the Vette: it's got a killer V8, if I were to buy a GTR it would have to be a 2011 or newer due to the upgraded tranny that you can actually launch and not void warranty which means you'd be looking to pay at least $80k, I wanted stick, I love light cars, I've always loved vettes and while stock it will pull harder on the highway than the GTR. And for half the price of a 2011+ it's a no brainer.

you could of bought the PPG Heavy Duty 1st Gear Set and launched your GTR when and where ever. I think the GTR transmission problem was blown out of proportion.

Jetstream blue is a great color, this car really looks good anyway you paint it. I was considering Yellow and Black as well. Almost bought a JSB one a few months ago.

Awesome and that is one of my favorite colors as well. Enjoy!

The reason the Z06 doesn't have a targa top is because it's aluminum frame couldn't support it.

If you think it pulls hard now, slap in a nasty cam, some LTH's, and a CAI and you will think you got rear ended by a dump truck every time you floor the gas pedal. A gain of about 100 HP (depending on cam specs) and you can do it all for roughly $3500-$4500.

This is where muscle rules.

ZKraken22 06-05-2013 06:14 PM

Well JDM is not cheap that's for sure. Muscle cars are cheap HP. Not saying that in a bad way either. I wish I never laid eyes on the Z. But because I have I can never look a American muscle the same again. unless they change the domestic look.

All domestics look different from one another, can't just group them all because they are from the US. Dodge vs Chevy vs Ford... each is very different. It's not the country that determines the look, it's the design team.

It already feels like you're getting kicked in the *** when you nail it!

But I hear yea, will probably look into some goodies for it in the next few months.

But none are unique design's. ford, dodge, chevy none have stepped out the box of the domestic look. Sure a mustang looks different then a Camaro... ect. the 370z is a 4 year old car and people still ask me what kind of car it Is. Look at the NSX, 300zx, Supra, 370z they are all... "to me" unique.

Oh the ford GT is an exception ;)

They ask what kinda of car it is because it's so damn rare! Doesn't hurt that the Z is sexy as hell, but the scarcity of them is really what's driving that.

People never asked about my 350z since there was a million of those things sold, but the 370z was different.

When the new Camaro first came out it was pretty awesome, now... there are WAY too many.

I think the pontiac solstice was a unique design but, crappy suspension and poor ergonomics kept the solstice from being the classic it should've been.:tiphat:

I hsve to agree with all your statements though. :iagree:
