Honestly, I think those DRLs are ugly. Only thing wrong with the 13' but that's just personal taste.

Actually the 350z plain bumper and weird melted wheels are kind of brutal to dont ya think?

It's not the car, it's the type of drivers that drive them. Just so happens there are a lot of younger males ages 16-25 driving the FRS/BRZ. For most of them it's their first rwd "sports" car. It gives them confidence, they want to hang with the "big" boys now and they often feel they need to prove they can.

For example, i was driving the Z last weekend and was going in the right turn lane. There was newer Camaro, with a modified exhaust in the lane going straight waiting for traffic in front of him to move. As I drove past him and made my right turn, I saw him jump out of his lane into the turn late, proceed to floor it to catch up to me. When he got even with me he slowed down, down shifted, rev, slowed, rev, and sped off... :ugh2:

and at the next light I got to see the driver.... probably 17-19 years old.

He went out of his way (changing the road he was planning to drive on) to come do a flyby downshift on me.:shakes head:

I like the wheels better than the ones that I had on my 09 base.

Also bear in mind it's spring and most people get a little frisky the first couple times they take their toys out of the garage. I know I do.

It is what it is. Most people under the age of 25 cant afford cars over $30,000 And the ones that can are usually very responsible and mature for their age. So they would be less likely to act like D-bags on the road.

It is what it is.

this is fact, i actually think it can happen to anyone at any age and from what i noticed, the cheaper/slower(its usually one or the other) the car is, the more people drive like douchebags but there are exceptions to the rule(i ran into a jag owner who was a douchebag driving in 2 lanes 20mph under)

ONTOPIC

i have more problems with BMWs

FRS owners around where i am at are usually fat women driving the slapstick version

Offset by that pretty midnight blue color. I just don't like those running lights vOv. Better than the 12' option at least.

Like I said though, it's just an aesthetic thing.

Nissan should have integrated DRL's into the new headlights, cuz those vertical white lights in the bulbous front look extremely forced. JUST LIKE VETTE DUCTS...:stirthepot:

Nice... I would buy one... Used for $18,000 or less with 15,000 miles or less on it. I just feel the MSRP on these new should have been $22,000 base $25,000 loaded for the FRS and $24,000 base and $26,500 loaded for the BRZ. Due to the power deficit, lack of a decent brake pkg and shytty looking wheels, I have no compromise in my personal value evaluation for these cars.

And my opinions aren't based on affordability. Give me till the end of the year and i could buy 2 right off the bat. It's just that's where i see these cars from a value standpoint.

i think i did miss it, is it in this thread?

oh and i couldnt agree more on the price, this car definitely isnt worth 24k especially when the genesis coupe 2.0t is the same price and makes more hp

honestly i wouldnt be so critical about the FRS if it had more HP, i got to test drive one at a sion dealer(scared the sales guy while going on the test drive as well) and even though its a fun car on twisties, i wouldnt be able to live with the overall power in day to day driving, hard to merge on the highway, hard to pass people up

Depends on what you want, if nothing else, curb weight is radically different between the two.

You guys should have read a thread on a local forum that I was commenting in. Two FR-S's with wheels and suspension I commented on how I liked one and not the other and then before I knew it, it turned into an argument. Then they started making idiotic statements saying that their FR-S with Suspension and exhaust would beat my 370Z around a track, I had enough and went off on how they where just fanboys on that site. Not saying all of them are dumb but they are in the same bracket as the young kids with fart can exhaust on a civic in my book.

That thread was terrible. I avoid JDMC for the most part after that because honestly half of them are like that, and that is half too many.
