Ferrari Crash 458 Italia VS Ford F150 - YouTube And America (MSNBC) was so heartbroken over a Ferrari... Priorities, priorities... lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...2ojyztUNg#t=0s |
I know it's not the 458, but your video led me to it and it's far more spectacular photos of crashed (and beyond totaled) Enzo's:
Good news is, is that I'm going to be getting to drive an F430 in a few weeks at full throttle after a small class prior! :ughdance: May the luck of the Ferrari not strike me down... |

I chose a Gallardo over the F430 to drive last summer. Both were great choices, but that Lamborghini V10 was just :yum:

Your could always rent one for a day, lol. The one I went to didn't have a rev limit (I mean technically I guess it did), but there was a limiter on top speed. I couldn't go faster than 80mph. Not that big of a deal since the track was kind of small to begin with. They also wouldn't let me shift it out of "Auto", but I could gun it down the straightaway as much as I wanted. The laps went by pretty quick. The guy running the event did let me run a couple more laps than I paid for, so it was all good.
Also, I think Lambo & Ferrari all come with Single/Dual-Clutch type gearboxes now. I think Lambo dropped the manual trans a couple of years ago. The only true manual trans in the Ferrari stable is in the California. The F430 still had it, but few people actually bought it because it was slower. |
Just found this one on Yahoo:
Twin-turbo, 700-hp Ferrari 458 crashed into swamp after top-speed run | Motoramic - Yahoo! Autos |
talking about car crashes, I sold my 370z nismo because it was number 4 for 2010.
I heard that #4 sounds like death in Chinese, Japanese :-O I figured it's better to be supertitious and wrong then not supertitious and wrong :-) I sure hope the present owner is doing okay :-) |
