I only show $60 for front and rear pads on the. Nissan GTR. If you can change them yourself then that is not at all expensive.

I am sure if you take it in the dealership with do the regular raping. Hello they charged my g-pa $1000 in1984 for a checkup on his Delta olds 88 and all they did there was change the oil and check not change any fluids. That was no supercar.

I might buy that GTR!

OEM replacement pads for the GTR are insane.. they list for well over $1300 from the dealership but again no one in their right mind buys them even at 10-15% over dealer cost like a lot of vendors we have sell them for (MSRP is something like $855 for fronts and $570 for rears lol)

most go with something aftermarket like Carbotech or Endless pads for about 1/3rd of that. you can get a nice set of pads for $500 range. Me i just bought a set of take off new OEM pads for about $350 with just a few hundred miles on them

Yeah...
When I saw CompDoc's response I was like $60 for used pads that are worn to the metal maybe...

My ISF pads are like $400 at the dealershit, so I doubt you can get the for the GTR for $60 anywhere

no calipers just OEM rotors and pads. rotors are list for about 1K each alone so with pads thats 5300 MSRP before labor...but thats a fairytale and wont happen in the real world unless your some rich doctor/lawyer or whatever who knows nothing about the car and just drops it off and says i need new brakes and lets the dealer pile it on

your 2 real world options are aftermarket pads and rotors that are better than OEM or take off OEM parts with low mileage. both will put you 3K or less for a full on brake change

I think that is a really good deal on the car, its VERY hard to find a GT-R for under 60k even if they have 40k miles. I know that Global gave the guy 51k or so for his trade-in so you should have some room to haggle with them.

no not yet, probably going there on Friday, 1/4......

Jamielle@FP 01-03-2013 08:00 AM

If its still there this weekend I might go take a glance at it but I really want a White one, not a huge fan of Super Silver

danegrey 01-04-2013 09:04 AM

not going to be able to make it today there,
maybe not at all, in reading all this information about it....
going to have to do some more thinking...
thanks for all the input
