I'm starting this post off with I'm sorry. But i just can't get on the GT-R bandwagon. Yes engineering wise this car is phenomenal don't get me wrong, but personally I just don't have any draw to this car. Sorry guys, specially you GT-R owners since I know at least two of you are on this board. It is an amazing machine, it's just not for me.

again the GT-R is beyond bounds in the engineering aspect.

I've been around a lot of them, they sound mean as fukk.. and can back it up, don't get me wrong. Personally I have no interest in them, they look decent, perform like a fukkin monster, sound amazing, they just aren't what I would spend the money on. People who can afford them understand, and unlike most cars in that genre..thats what I respect most of them. MC your car is sick and honestly one of the only GT-R's I fell in love with; so take this as a grain of salt just like everyone else's opinion, you know what the saying is lol..:ugh2:

Trying to compare these times is worthless. There are too many variables going into laps at the Ring that you are never going to get a solid comparison.

I've said it time and time again... you have to put two cars on a smaller track with 10-15 corners as opposed to 174ish.

Plus, isn't it true that the GT-R's times out there are on slicks? The ZR1 is all stock, including street tires. Someone else said it in another thread, but doesn't it look kind of silly of Nissan that they keep taking the GT-R out time and time again to try and beat the ZR1, when Chevrolet went once to say, "yeah, we can do it... chill the **** out" and left for good.

I'm really getting sick of this car!

nope thats a year old BS rumor. it ran the same dunlops i have on my mine

here are the actual dunlops used in the previous 7:29 time from april 08

the 7:26 was done with the 2010 model that has 5 more HP and a slightly revised suspension damping rates
