Think you guys might enjoy my little project.
It's been a 3 long years to get where I am now, so I thought you guys would enjoy it. Oh and I'm 16 :D
Sorry for the gigantic pictures First day home http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...240z2ndday.png http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...Photo0252.jpeg The Very next day I started tearing out the interior to clean up the surface rust it had. http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...Photo0062.jpeg And then the car sat as school started again for me. So fast foward about 5 months, I started sanding the car down because having 4 different colors on the car was bothering me. http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w..._1754_01-1.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...611_1755-1.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w..._1754_02-1.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...611_1754-1.jpg Rattle canned it black temporarily http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...611_1938-1.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...611_1830-1.jpg After that I started working on figuring out all the electrical problems I had, amazingly the car still was drive able. No pictures of that part of work, it was too frustrating when I was trying to trace all of the previous owners wiring. Well after 3 months of tinkering with the wiring I finally gave up after getting my dash lights to work. So she sat there again for I don't know how long. I think probably a year and half. December 21st, my dads friend finally had room inside the shop for us to have our car there and work on it. He also did the painting and bodywork for us. http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...74771887_n.jpg The car sat in his shop for about 2 months while he was finishing up a couple other projects, and I was still in school. February came, and we finally started working on the car again. Tear down: http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...d/DSCF0082.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...d/DSCF0077.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...d/DSCF0095.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...d/DSCF0096.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...d/DSCF0094.jpg http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...d/DSCF0106.jpg Ok.....I think that's a long of enough of a post and a break from my homework for me haha. But I'll leave a picture of how the car looks right now. http://i728.photobucket.com/albums/w...d/DSCF1331.jpg |

Wow: pretty amazing you transformed the car into the clean classic it is now.
Labor of Love, no doubt . . . very cool. |
damn.... I wish I had the skillset to do something like that.
|
Everybody does, it just takes a lot of patience. I'm not even that talented actually haha I had a lot of help.
|
Great build!
Just dont put a 2JZ in it, keep it nissan. The L28ET is a great turbo motor and can make decent power with few mods. DAN |
Nice job the cars beautiful!

|
I had a 240 back in the day and it looked nothing like this one. Nice job!!

Very impressive! I like the idea of putting all hat work to basically build your first car.
