I think the point is that the guy initially appeared to try to run. He passed the other bike on the double yellow, after passing the Subie on the double yellow and clipping it. Shady stuff! He should probably put the bike up for sale and stick to the city bus.

Well maybe but a 250's top speed is going to be around or less than 100mph.

Couldn't agree more about the city bus. Either way the guy is a total loser.

Right, but IMO it's easier to ride WOT at twice the speed limit through curvy roads than it is to stay on the road at the same speed on four wheels without getting yourself killed. If you can stay on a curvy road at 100mph on a bike, and a car can't keep up with you at those speeds without killing theirself, you're going to get away.

I've never owned a 250cc bike, but I've ridden friends and passed much bigger bikes up the mountain :)

Yep, that's a good point.

I actually have a CBR250r. It's pretty nimble so you're probably right. If the road was sufficiently curvy, I could probably pull away a bit.

I saw this earlier and was trying to figure out what happened. I had a ZX-6R and you would have to actually TRY to not leave him behind, there was one time that I decided to really punch it at night on an empty road and I went from 40 to about 155 in like 3 seconds. He knew what he did and tried to run, then for some reason changed his mind. Weird...

Maybe he spotted the camera on the front of the guys car and realized he might have his tag number.
