Professor Pobst at the wheel. ....dang he is good. Every time I get cocky about popping a 1:40 out there I just watch him and feel like a beginner again.

Yes but mine eyes have seen the glory of defeat. Doesn't take much brain power to see this fast but wallowing 302 boss pretty much have to come to a stand still in the turns. Just watch the Volvo and then watch this pole sitting Grand Am Boss 302 R. ..... you know cars that have had tons of money put into suspension tuning, etc. Remember what I said about mustangs being nose heavy look at what it does on track in places were there is incline. It's like a bucking bronco! Yeeehaaaa! I guess name is appropriate. Again not saying Mustangs aren't a fun drive but handling ain't something Mustang brings to the table ever. Just get tired of our mustang crowd touting the "handling" of their cars as they are ill informed.

This guy in pole sitting Boss 302 R was getting spanked by 10 seconds a lap by a Volvo on same track. ....Ha ha!

I can't watch the video at work, but I will say this about tracking a car. Driver mod is still the most important factor in any race.

We all know you're a troll when you compare a GT class SCCA World Challenge Volvo to a Grand AM Boss 302R, which is more comparable to the World Challenge GTS class.

Pobst, in the GT class Volvo, took pole at 1:26.361.

The fastest GTS class car, a TSX driven by Pete Cunningham, went 1:33.094.

The fastest 370Z in GTS went 1:37.561. The fastest Mustang in GTS went 1:34.369.

For reference, Joe Foster qualified 4th at 1:36.375 in the Boss onboard you posted of the Conti Challenge qualifying session. Pole that year was by a Camaro GS.R at 1:36.049.

We get it. We know you hate the Mustang and we know you'll do anything you can to disparage it. Even if it makes you look like a total idiot by posting a World Challenge GT time and comparing it to Conti Challenge GS or World Challenge GTS cars. Sorry, but none of us are dumb enough to buy that comparison.

This is a relevant factual post here, but I think what you mean to say is that the 370z obviously finished faster. As we all know, it can handle :roflpuke2:

The AUDI R18 won pole at Le Mans, but the damn 911 RSR is running 30 seconds slower per lap! Ugh, it must really suck!

Whale-logic ftw!

Porsche obviously makes inferior vehicles that cannot handle well. Regardless of class, if that 911 was anything, it would be faster than the prototype classes.
