Dyno'd my G37, and a few others...

So our local club rented out a dynojet, whose load I have to say was pretty harsh, the numbers came in pretty low but once compared to the others, I was pretty satisfied! The dyno owner said it had to do with the crazy temperature & humidity but does that make this huge of a difference? Thought I'd post this on here too since we're rocking the same engine. :driving:

And on I went:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/zLKDTkih7Js&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en& feature=player_embedded&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/zLKDTkih7Js&color1=0xb1b1b1&color2=0xcfcfcf&hl=en& feature=player_embedded&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

I was sent the dyno run files but for some reason, I couldn't get the rpm readings on the x-axis, it was only showing speed in mph. So you'll have to multiply that by 46.17 to convert it to engine speed in rpm. (Excuse the ghetto-ness)

The gay thing I noticed about 5AT's, is that even when on manual mode, the ECU won't let your rev past around 7000 on 4th and will automatically shift into 5th

Well enough with the blabbering, let's get to business

There are three graphs, each for a different G37. I thought It'd be interesting to combine them (I know, different cars, different readings bla bla). All dyno runs were conducted on the gear whose ratio is 1:1.

Now, the lowermost brown graph is for a G37 with an HKS Intake.

The one right above it in bold red, is for a G37 with Stillen Gen 2 Intakes, UR Crank Pulley, Stillen Headers, GTM Test Pipes & Magnaflow Exhaust

And the one just above it in blue is mine, Stillen Gen 3 Intakes, UR Crank Pulley, FI Test Pipes & FI CF Catback

Still 250whp is heart-braking lol.

Other Cars:
- DE 350Z with intake & exhaust dyno'ed at around 200whp!
- (Previous Gen) Lumina SS Coupe with Full Exhaust & Intake dyno'ed at 312whp
- Lumina CR8 with catback dyno'ed at 336 whp
- Lumina SS with LS7 engine swap, intake & full exhaust dyno'd at 502 whp!

That's why you get a manual my friend...
Great car though!
And I see you got some tasty mods done.
I did not mean anything in a bad way!

Haha unfortunately manual wasn't an option around here
