At the end of the day, the Nismo is just plain sexy, while the EVO looks like a little toy. I honestly don't care if the EVO beats it or not, Z is just a different class. You can basically cheat HP out those little 4cyl Turbo engines. But slap a Turbo on a Z, we already know what happens then. Next Z will probably have a factory Turbo.

who is the better driver / racer, you or your brother? maybe experience will beat out the potentially faster car?

yea

It will also depend how much your brother hates his clutch during the launch. But I'm thinking he'll still win the ol' 1/4

My base GSR weighed 3525lbs without me in it. It does not weigh less by any means. |
Ditto the above post. Evos are heavy cars.

Heres a pic from last year when I had both. 1/4 Mile stock for stock the evo would most likey win but from a roll I think the Z will pull ahead. I like both cars alot but the Turbo Z at 10psi was a took off like a freaking jet in 2-3-4-5 gear. Not much can touch it from a roll.

Rooster likes the pics  the cars look good next to each other all clean.

AWD from a dig he would win. 40 roll is more your race. and why is your younger bro modding before you!!!

My friend had this exact car and I had an 06 Z. Stock for stock I usually pulled ahead a little on a roll and he beat me from a dig. Then he got drop ins and a better clutch flywheel and a little better exhaust while I got motordyne exhaust, art pipes and intake. The same rule applied, except I beat him by much more on a roll.
Me new nismo handles him easily from both. Those mods will definitely make the race really close from a roll. From a dig you'll lose. Maybe you should get intake, exhaust and a tune? Then it'll be different. Little Turbo cars can make a lot more power with the same mods, but the Z was better designed and lighter, from experience driving both a lot. Just thought I'd chime in on my experience. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 |
