That is the going price I am hearing.
I think beyond the fact they put a GT-R inside a Juke, the price is escalated for the fact that they can charge for it and people are going to pay for it.

zuperman 370 05-03-2012 02:15 PM

Wait bro u serious :s if so than screw that I would buy a gtr and put a gtr engine in my 370z as well lool

I am being serious.

shadoquad 05-03-2012 02:33 PM

hmm, need a pic with one on Vossen CV3's before I decide on it or not.

jav?

theDreamer 05-03-2012 03:00 PM

Well now Jalopnik is saying $600,000: The Nissan Juke R Will Cost $600,000
They buy both a Juke & a GT-R and then merge them together.

TerribleONE 05-03-2012 03:03 PM

that is one insane price...

theDreamer 05-03-2012 03:04 PM

Yep, at 200k it would be cool and a bit overpriced but unique.
At 600k....:wtf2:

Econ 05-03-2012 03:33 PM

I wouldn't pay $50k

$590k. This car is only for the oil tycoons in the middle east.
An Awesome-R Shade of Awesome: Nissan to Sell 545-hp Juke-R in Limited Numbers

LakeShow 05-04-2012 07:19 PM

0-60 in 3.7 and top speed 160mph. That is quite sad and a complete waste of time they made that Joke-R with the 545hp TT AWD GTR engine. Should've done a 370z-R with AWD 545HP TT and would've had a bigger market and not to mention how fast it would be.

Oh, I think the Juke R is really cool. The joke is the price. It's like they misplaced the decimal point.

_ace_ 05-04-2012 07:39 PM

They're probably making ~10 of them. Given the volume, a ridiculous price should be expected.

Oh, I understand that exclusivity comes at a price. But there's buying a Reventon, and there's buying a CUV with a hopped up engine in it.

LakeShow 05-05-2012 12:43 AM

This car shouldn't even dream of being 6 figures.

I understand some rich fgt will overpay for this pos. That doesn't make it worth the dough.

Also, the "Why do you care" argument doesn't belong on a car forum. Whether or not car enthusiasts can or will buy a vehicle, that doesn't mean they are unable to comment on it or the company who is doing it. The answer to "why do you care" is "because we're car enthusiasts".

FuszNissan 05-05-2012 09:18 AM

500-600k is probably right.

You have to buy a GTR and a Juke from Nissan, then they tear them down and hand make the little monster.

Take a 100k car, then take a 25k car, voodoo magic in between = 4 times the cost of both vehicles.

Makes sense to me :ugh2:

FuszNissan 05-05-2012 09:23 AM

Shado, I understand you are looking at MSRP's. But look at the hours involved and everything is custom made. Down to hand shaping and sanding the body.

I'm not arguing that it costs a lot to make. I'm just saying that in spite of all that, the finished product is just a CUV that goes as fast as a GTR, and the concept of that vehicle is simply not worth 5 GTR's, as an individual automobile.

I understand that, and I understand that 10 millionaires will buy these little status nuggets, and that they'll live in a plastic bubble to be resold in twenty years at an auction somewhere for more money. It's a designed collector car.

CarbonSignal 05-08-2012 12:54 PM

It was in Dubai a month back and rumors are all first three orders are from Dubai.

When a number plate with just numeric digits can fetch 14.2million $$$$ then anything is possible, Its common here for some people to buy something unique.
