Smart Cars using a Suzuki Hayabusa 1300cc
 

So in this months issue of Super Street mag Tetsu had some interesting thoughts about the Scion iQ and the Smart 4 two. He spoke of some "Diablo" Smart 4 Two's that had Suzuki Hayabusa GSX1300R engines swapped into them. This is not anything new, just new to me and I figured a few of you out there might not have seen these before either.

For such a weak little car these were pretty impressive.

The F430 video obviously has a crummy driver and doesnt know how to launch but either way these videos are pretty interesting.

Suzuki Hayabusa:

1/4 mile (402 m): 9.62 seconds @ 149.7 mph (241 km/h)
0–60 mph: 2.60 seconds
0–180 mph: 15.9 seconds

I gotta admit, it makes driving one look like a ****-load of fun.

but that Smart is scary to drive.....one pothole or truck hit and boom....

With that car, wonder if four or five guys could just pick it up and move it...Would show how much is car might be worth. ;)

ok, this is the plan. go to work earlier for just one day and take his parking spot exactly....
