25k 197hp... not impressed with the power. I was hoping they would try to achieve at least 240hp. There are other factors that make this car hot like the speculated extremely low center of gravity, near perfect weight distribution and an expected weight of under 3000lbs. But its anemic by the magic 43hp needed to get respect. Its pushing civic power. Rumor has it the gencoupe 2.0 will push 276hp for similar cash??? Let's see what happens later when the car is actually out. Maybe I'll be wrong about anemic power??? Maybe the handling will be so good that it will be hard to resist with even a low hp powerplant???

once you get on highway in that car... all the thrill and fun will evaporate instantly as angry mid age women pass you by in their v6 accord, camry, G37 etc...

Yeah, I am disappointed with the amount of power. It weighs pretty close to the S2K but has a 40+ HP deficit. I'm sure it will be fun to toss around and will be impressive compared to, say, a Miata or maybe a Mini Cooper S but for $23K you can buy a kick-*** used S2000 and have plenty of money left over for mods if that's your thing. |
Two words:
NISMO Juke Although, they should probably not be compared at all. |
Ugh.
The first concept looks way better than this final production. |
I like the Subaru version of the car. 197hp is not that great but for the weight it's not terrible either. Hopefully a 300hp+ STi version is in the pipeline.
