Yes I still agree. After my test drive of a non brembo equipped 5.0, I believe the 2 things the z had over the stang was looks and slightly better steering.

Lookswise, I think the z was more like heidi klum, while the stang was more like angelina jolie. Brash and aggressive but still sexy in its own way.

Steeringwise, I believe the z had the edge, although to be fair I did not test a brembo equipped 5.0. I heard the steering is tighter.

I have always been a Nissan and infiniti guy all my life. Owned a few of them, so going into this, I wasn't expecting the 5.0 to be THIS good. I was really blown away. I was open and glad i was.

I love my Z too! Congrats on the purchase G2Z

Thx blades! I still love my z, but i only did this out of necessity and the value they gave me was wayyyyyyy good for my trade so could not refuse. It just so happens that I really loved how the stang drove... Big plus for me.

It's called the Brembo package and it includes more than just brakes.

The brembo brake pkg involves more than just brakes and tires. It involves different suspension tuning including dampers and springs. Also in the package, steering is supposedly firmed up. Dan and Steve correct me if I'm wrong.

Oh yeah I checked my corrected drag strip time yesterday and it was 13.12 @ 107.8. My 60' times were consistently higher by 0.1 sec at Capitol Raceway than at Cecil County Dragway though.

Yep, that's the other variable--and it affects things a lot less consistently

:werd: I know I'm not gonna get the best times at Capitol for that reason. Is have to go to a better track for that.

lol... don't worry. I'll be a soccer dad soon too. But I have a minivan and daily beater for those tasks. The 5.0 is my toy car, but now I can haul my wife and kids in it too... quickly :D
