2013 the Mustang V6 models are keeping the same base prices as the previous year. The V6 base coupe $22,995
premium V6 coupe $26,995
V6 convertible base $27,995
V6 premium $31,995

2013 Mustang GT base coupe $31,095 increase of $1,100
premium model Mustang GT increase of $200 to $35,095
2013 Mustang GT convertible model base model going for $36,095 (increased $1,110)
premium at $40,095 ($1,200 increase)

2013 Mustang Boss 302 $42,995, up $2,000
Laguna Seca $2,000 increase to $49,990.

No pricing on the GT500, but a natural progression would be $55k base

^ are you still deciding on the Z to Stang "up"grade, Lemers? :)

As far as the price for the 2013 Shelby, rumor has it at 65k, a relatively large increase over the 2012. I'm not happy about the pricing, but for the improvements in all aspects, maybe it's ok....

I need someone to talk me out of this. I am seriously considering one.

Dan I hope you're joking??? CTS V?.................

m4a1mustang 02-08-2012 07:52 AM

$65k for 200+ mph is reasonable!

CTS-V is noice but I don't think I could bring myself to buy one. I'd want a BMW or Mercedes.

I love the caddy. I'd want one more than a beemer or merc.

65k isnt too bad for the gt500, that's what most of 07 gt500 owners paid back in 06 lol. But I'd much rather a 2010 GTR... Or pay a little more for a cayman R.

m4a1mustang 02-08-2012 08:06 AM

Yeah I'd probably go for a GTR too but if you really want a GT500, it's a good deal given what you're getting. I bet they initially sell for $80k+ though with markup.

GTR is more than that without markup ;)

You could find a used one (maybe not an 10) for around $65k.

My new GT500 smells like new car.
Steve's used GTR smells like someone else's farts.

You're right Steve... I totally forgot about that. The markup, esp initially. That is insane.

I did talk to my dealer though, and he'd get one for me at MSRP no problem. (note, not invoice). Now if only I could scrounge up 65k plus tax..... hmmmm

on a Ford related note: I test drove a Focus last weekend, as a possible replacement for my aging Civic with 100k miles. That focus was such a delight to drive. No wonder it was one of 10 best c and d. Steering and chassis coupled with peppy engine. Yummy. No ST for me though, must be automatic for wife to be able to drive it... shucks.

There is a nice red one with just a few thousand miles on it for sale for $69K at my local dealership. 2010. Looks to be the Premium edition, but I'm not 100% sure how to tell as I'm not a GTRphile.

The Focus is nice.

I'm buying an S2000 very soon so I'll be set car wise. 2011 Mustang GT, 2003 Mercedes CLK500, and 2005 Honda S2000.
