Just wanted to say, I find it ironic how this is one of the most popular non spam threads on this forum. and how ironic that some of the most helpful people on this forum have 5.0s. And how ironic that after 250 years of engineering the wagon axles still gets it use :happydance:

EDIT: btw is that Keith Stone?

Following that same logic, I'm surprised vehicles still use a combustion engine...albeit much much improved versions of Henry's gem.

Lesson: continuous improvement. Period.

Only thing wrong is that he didn't cut the roof off

Thought I'd share this with you guys from last night:

My girlfriend and I were driving back to her apartment from dinner at my parent's house a little after 8 last night. We were driving one of the county parkways which is two lanes each way. I was in the left lane moving with traffic and a blue current generation Evo was in the right lane with slower traffic. As I went along side him to pass, he immediately dropped gears and started goosing the throttle continuously, even with traffic immediately ahead of us.

He jumped over to the left lane right behind me and kept goosing it while tailgating me very closely. When there was a brief opening in the right lane he swung out, passed me, and cut me off to get back into the left lane. This went on for about 5 miles and we were still in moderately heavy traffic and were coming up on another parkway system. I moved to the right lane because normally I would get off onto the other parkway, but I noticed a county cop up ahead so I decided to continue on and take another route home. The Evo couldn't see the cop ahead otherwise he would have exited to the other parkway, instead he was stuck behind me doing under the speed limit behind the cop for another 5 miles.

Anyways, he keeps following and throws revs here and there. Eventually I turn off onto a dark side street and the dumbass follows me. At this point he's been following me for about 10 miles. He's riding my *** and keeps hitting his brakes and accelerating, swerving all over the place trying to intimidate me. I mentioned to my gf that I wanted to pull over into a parking lot to see if he'd follow but she said no. So I told her if he follows me on a third turn I will no longer consider him a nuisance but instead will consider him a threat.

This is the Commonwealth of Virginia, not Maryland. In Virginia, we carry. I always have my Glock 26 on me and sometimes I have my AR-15 in the trunk if I plan on going to the range...

Thankfully, he decided to turn right when I turned left. I'm sure he was somewhat lost at this point and needed to find his way back to the parkway. But god damn, what a douche.

I debate about it constantly, but I think I'm putting my NRA, Glock, Colt, and BCM Gunfighter decals on my car. I just want people to leave me in peace on the road.

I never put stickers on my cars (unless required by law or military). They are unsightly and provide information about the owner that theaves can use. Like alpine stickers says "this guy has a great stereo to steal" or NRA stickers say " this guy most like leaves a gun in his car".

The downside is the advertisement for potential break-ins. But the upside is you wouldn't likely be trolled by an Evo for 15 minutes.
