Steve! Steve did the review!!! :icon17:

The stock pads and rotors are awesome. The stock pads are a Ferodo street + light track compound (which is why I replaced them after 21k of street driving!). They are great.

The front calipers are Brembo. The rear are Ford. The pads are Ferodo/Brembo. Front rotors are Brembo. Rear rotors are Ford. It's a good setup.

I use Picasa, by Google. It's nice. You get 1GB of free space but I use a lot so I bought 20GB for like $5.

Wonder if...is that...:icon08:....I see what you did there.....

GZ3 10-17-2011 12:07 PM

lol you guys live in this thread/forum!

on a side not...car is completely stock again...going back to the dealer for suspension work...if you get a creeking sound/grinding metal...there is a TSB for it...dealer advised that return car back to stock before i took it in

fyi ALWAYS remove a tune for ANY factory work!

m4a1mustang 10-17-2011 12:52 PM

What exactly does the TSB address/replace? I wonder if it's for the non-Brembo cars since I haven't felt or heard anything with the suspension.

Just wondering, if I were to get an automatic 5.0, how much would it cost in aftermarket or stock Brembo parts to match or get better than Brembo package performance. Have no intention of trading my Z for a 5.0, just wondering.

The Brembo front upgrade is $1,200 and there is a plethora of suspension options out there, but let's just say you chose the Steeda coilover kit... $1500.

So, $2,700 + the cost of summer tires.

Which goes to show you that buying a Manual (like $800 cheaper than the auto) and adding the $1,600 Brembo package is a helluva deal.

Just like the sport package on the Z. The non-brembo's don't come with summer tires?

m4a1mustang 10-17-2011 01:36 PM

The Non-Brembos come with PZero Nero all-seasons.

Red__Zed 10-17-2011 01:37 PM

To be fair, with that suspension, you're beating the brembo car.

Well with any aftermarket suspension there you would.

Even still, the Brembo package is worth it for the wheels, tires, brakes, and TC/SC calibration alone.
