Sr20ve?!
 

Hey there,
I'm not sure if this is the right area to post this, but here we go anyway. I recently purchased a pristine 1999 infiniti g20 to use as a DD for a steal (or so I thought). Long story short, I'll be finding out soon whether the engine is done-zo. Instead of replacing it with another sr20de, I've heard there is a better version called the sr20ve. Does anybody have any experience with these or know if it would be as easy a swap as the factory engine? Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

It is one of the NEO VVL engines from Nissan. It's pretty much the same as Honda's VTEC. You can find more info here:
