New Daily Driver/ Semi Off Road Vehicle
 

So along side my Z I currently drive a 2002 BMW x5. Winters in NY can be unkind....

So my BMW currently has 90k miles on it and every mile that passes seems to cost me more and more money. I'm looking to replace it with a car I can use as a DD but also for when I go upstate(drive off road in the woods or in the snow).

The top of my list right now is a Nissan Xterra Pro-4X

Can anyone really think of anything else that is comparable in price(30k?) and functionality?

I'd love any suggestions!

Not sure about practicallity off road but for a DD SUV I'm partial to the Jeep SRT8. Almost as fast as the Z, AWD for rain and snow, plenty of luxruy and room. Test drove a 2006 last year and it was a decent car. Holds it's value pretty decently too.

Not a whole lot in that price range for new SUV's. I like the new Explorer and my sister bought a Pathfinder a few months ago. The interior was much nicer in the Pathfinder than the X-Terra, but its a bigger car. Range Rover Evoque also looks pretty cool, but pricey.

Hyundai is making some nice vehicles in that price range....
