The car is up & running this past weekend, need to get the front bumper re-mounted back on the car and order a couple more parts but hoping to have this car home and driving by the end of the month.

Since the car sat for so many years we had to replace a few parts:
-fuel pump
-fuel tank
-injectors
-spark plugs

all of which (minus the fuel tank) i was planning to change out anyways, but having sat for so long the fuel system was not happy & need basically all new parts. Once those were all thrown in, the car started right up & could be driven around and we were able to get all fluids changed out (engine oil/transmission/etc).

Things to do still:
-wheel & tires (tires are rotted)
-mount front bumper
-detail the car
-order a few interior pieces missing

a quick teaser video of the car starting up:

So a fun update with this one, got a lot done the past few months, the car drives now but ran into a "small" electrical issue that was not present before. Also had the high pressure hose on the A/C rub a hole and was fun finding a shop who could properly repair it, found one who did not go crazy on price and did good work. Now when driving the car wants to die when I stop at a light and the battery is over heating, trying to source what is going on but before this happening it was driving nicely and made many people turn heads when seeing me on the other side of the car steering.

Things repaired:
-Front bumper now fitted and mounted
-A/C hose
-Alignment and shutter at low speeds on steering wheel

New things added:
-Nardi 330mm Steering Wheel
-NRG 2.5 HUB/QR
-Sumitomo HTR 235/40-18 & 245/40-18
-Vordoven 18x9.5+32 & 18x9.5+22
-Interior door panels

Sad update this time, was taking the Silvia out to meet the wife for lunch and while driving down the freeway lost power. Still had electrical but could not move the car, once shut down and I tried to start her again it just clicked. Had to get her towed but hoping it might just be the alternator going bad and lost power or something.

Since I gave a Z update, I figured I should share what is going on with our Silvia. Good news/bad news is we have had some fun and great updates, bad news the car had an accident and is in the body shop currently fixing her up.

Silvia Completed:
-Apexi N1 Exhaust (replaced the cracked greddy)
-Battery relocation & kill switch (allowed for a bigger battery)
-BC Racing coilovers
-Cusco strut bar
-AEM Infinity ECU & accessories (allowed for proper tune and future upgrades)
Now the completed items because of the accident
-Diff bushings
-Rear subframe bushings
-Rear upper control arms
-Rear Toe
-Rear lower control arms
-Wheels (Re-bought Vardoven as we needed something ASAP)
-Akebono brake kit (Z1 adapter & full rotor/caliper/etc replacement)

The car was driving fantastic for a couple years once we had the AEM ECU added, allowed us to finally dial in the tune properly. As each upgrade went we were going down the rabbit hole adding additional changes. Found the exhaust was cracked so had to replace but also went with a bigger downpipe. After that I started tracing some rattles and clunks which revealed the coilovers were done along with some of the bushings were starting to fail.

The accident was good & bad, it sucked the car got hit but we were able to get a full replacement URAS kit along with ordering a ton of other items while the car was down.
