Cadillac V-Series Performance Lab Invite
Hello,
Anyone here who got an invite for the NY event in July? I got one and really want another one to take a friend along. If there's someone who has an invite and would not be attending, I'm hoping I can have your invitation code to register my friend :) On a side note, anyone on this forum who loves the Cadillac CTS Coupe? :) |
I love the CTS-V in all styles: Coupe, Sedan, and Wagon.
I just wish I had that kinda $$$ |
V-Coupe is sooo shmexy.
:yum: |
|
I like the car, and interior, but the back end : /

That seems to be the polarizing part, but I still like it.
I'd honestly get the sedan or wagon, though, for practicality reasons. Then again, what's practical about a 550hp, 70k, RWD luxury car? :yum: i wunt wun |
I'd rather the porsche panorama :)
|
yeah the back end is the flaw. it almost makes it look wagon like..or even cheap.
|
CTS-V is out of my league too, but I'm thinking of the CTS coupe.. hoping to get someone's invite!!

The fact that a Cadillac even enters into consideration, is the amazing part of the CTS. Never before in my life would I have considered one. After consideration I would pick something else, like an M3 in it's class or Corvette if the engine can't be lived without.
My hat is off to Cadillac for producing a car for somebody other than my grandfather. |

i want it.
|
I actually kinda like the black and yellow panamera :rofl2:
|
I like panameras. I just could not afford maintenance on a German car past warranty.
The base CTS, incidentally, can come with AWD and runs on regular gas. That's pretty tight. |

Heavy-lurker here :D Don't hate too much:ugh2:
I absolutely love the CTS-Coupe. My grandfather bought one a few months ago (black) and my jaw dropped when he pulled in with it. I realize the back of the car is controversial but at least it is something different at the very least. I mean...it's a Caddy, look at the models from 15 years ago...:roflpuke2: Also, idk how many of you have had a chance to drive one but I have many many times. The interior is unbelievable, you feel like you are in a spaceship. The ride is firm yet comfortable. Quite fun to drive. I just wish it was the V :tiphat: |

I kinda like unconventional shapes.. (the back of the CTS coupe)
The 370z was also loved because it's so different, and then the "ugly" 2010 Acura TL's... love em!! :) But I've been seriously thinking about moving to the CTS Coupe from the 370z... its just too soon though, just had the Z for a year and a half... but am tempted... |
I got invited last month, can't wait til in the morning. Not sure what the arrangement is but you get to drive 3 times. Part of it is video with one of their drivers riding shotgun.....Hope we get to do a fast lap
|
Yeah first the CTS coupe, then the V coupe and something else.. I read some event plan somewhere, and there are some youtube videos and pics people who have attended this in the past have put up if you search around on Google...
They won't be giving out any discount coupons for purchasing the CTS right? |
I'll let you know if they do!
|
I can respect the CTS-V for what it is, but I just hate how it looks. Not a fan of that angular design.

I've been visiting some Cadillac dealerships in the past few weeks but I'm quite sure I didn't give my BS email address where I got the invite at any dealership. So it must be from some car quote website I must've given the email address.. I've run Cadillac quotes or searched for used Cadillac's in the past few weeks.
Heard some people got it through car magazine subscriptions, but I have none of those. |
I was wondering the same thing. Decided it was because I have a CTS title in my name.
Bought one for my daughter after graduation. |
4dr CTS-V FTW.
|
yah if im getting the CTS it would be sedan for sure. that is one of few cars where sedan looks better than their coupe counter part...well i guess same can be said about G37's...

G37 coupe looks way better than the sedan! |

That being said, performance is spectacular from what I heard, but their differentials heat up FAST! on the track. I was at Spring Mountain when they were breaking some V-Coupes in for a dealer demo. All the drivers commented on how fast/hot the diffs got on those cars. I know the car was new, but they still seemed a bit surprised. Basically, the V cars are like the 370Z. They are fun and sporty on the road, but need some extra work for any real tracking. If you want a 4-door that still gets up and goes, I don't think you will beat the Sedan for the price. With the soon coming of the C7, I think the luxury of the Coupe will be close to equaled. |
