I still love the car and wish it was for me, but that's life... |
Thanks for all the advice so far guys. I went back and test drove both cars again and I thin I'm gonna go with the 335is. I love the V8 in the Mustang, but the fit and finish just isn't there and I'm not sure that I will be able to live with the overly plastic interior on a daily basis. The 335is is the polar opposite in that respect, fit and finish is top notch and it feels much more refined. And honestly, if I didn't know better, I would say that it is just as fast, as it really performs amazingly.

Either car is nice i was lookin into the 5.0 myself, but if its room your lookin for the sedan is better this car moves. heres a pic of my 335 b4 i got my Z reason i got rid of it someone ran red light and broad sided me hard Dam i miss her she had many mods.

I love that color. |
agreed, that is a sharp looking beemer.

Hands down BMW!
|
335is, no question. While the engine is great, the fit and finish on the Mustang is well below the Z and even further behind the BM.

Can't go wrong either way, but I would lean towards the 335is - great performance and you don't see many around.

Since the OP is talking about the 335iS in this thread and not the regular 335i, yes I'm serious. BMW supposedly only produced 5000 of the 335is and it's only been around for the one model year. |

I had a Mustang GT the first 6 years of my son's life. If you are alone with the kid, it is hell when they are real small leaning back there to buckle them up or pull them out of there. Unless your wife is under 5'2", she won't want to ride back there with him if all three of you are going somewhere together. My wife's car is a Maxima, when the kid went somewhere, 99% of the time he was in it.
Go for the BMW, unless you can convince the wife to drive a four door so you can keep the Z. |

Just took delivery of a Crimson Red 335is coupe, I'll try and get some pics up soon. Thanks for all of the advice, it was much appreciated.

Looks good, but the pic is really tiny. Do you have a bigger one?
|
Sorry...should be fixed now.

It's good now. Looks awesome, congrats

Also, you will save an absolute bundle on purchase price with the Mustang. That all being said, though, that 335is is a beautiful car overall. Why haven't you considered the G37 coupe - alot heavier then the Z but drives very nice (I used to have G35 coupe myself) |

My girlfriend is getting a 2008 335xi Coupe. Do the new LED taillights plug-and-play to the 2007-2010 models?
