Apparently, the Leaf is not getting the mileage Nissan said it would. Can you say "turtle"?

Therefor, we chose to use insufficient batteries. For those individuals who choose to drive their vehicle daily, additional batteries are available as an aftersales item.*

*A humorous play on Nissan's official response to the lack of an oil cooler, but probably not that far way from the truth. And yes, I'm getting a lot of mileage out Nissan's PR.
