Did I miss something?

I've never been happier to be a 370Z forum member and Z owner. I had parts left over from my RX-8 and thought, Hey, why no sell it on the RX-8 forum. All I can say is wow. It's like trying to explain stuff to a 12 year old that thinks he knows it all. I would never expect anything like this from the 370Z community.

Yeah, your thread got derailed.

It's happened here before. Hell, I've been guilty of it on occasion. But they treated you like crap there when you were just trying to sell a part.

Yeah, thats what I mean. A discussion thread is one thing, but I would never do this to someone trying to sell a part. All I can do is LOL.:icon17::rofl2:

I can't get your link to the RX-8 club to work. That is probably because I used to own one. I must still be suffering from some lingering side effects of rotary intoxication. I'd better go lie down.:icon17:

What happened to the pic that says "This thread is worthless without the other thread"?

Cmike2780 02-09-2011 05:19 PM

I'll try to summarize. Basically I wanter to sell a Sprint Booster I took off from an 04 RX-8 AT. My description read as follows:

"I am selling a used Sprint Booster for the Mazda RX-8 (Auto). It was on my car for about 6 months before I decided to sell the car. When it was on the car, it really improved throttle response. This is not a power adder, but it does make the car "feel" more powerful. It comes with an optional wired remote that allows you to change the settings from normal to aggressive."...etc. etc.

From the first post on, it was nothing but sarcasm aimed at the validity of the product. It was kind of a "if it really works, show us a video" to "Why would you sell this, did you get a turbo?"(I did mention I sold my car right).

I would have no problem if this had been a discussion thread, but I just wanted to sell the damn thing. I eventually sold it on Ebay so there was no reason to keep the thread open.

I love how they talk about the 370Z in that forum, good laughs. They seem to think us 370Z owners are d-bags for some reason, but this forum is for the most part friendly to owners and non-owners alike.

Let me get this straight...according to the chatter on the RX-8 forum, I wasn't a D-bag when I owned an RX-8, but I am now because I have a Z?!? Hysterical! I can see why you had such a hard time selling your sprint booser.

I need to know what kind of car to buy so that I can have x-ray vision.
