Damn Miata all the way at the back. I guess that's the price you pay when your doors weigh 3,000 lbs each.

Yeah, but launch ordinance at the track and the Miata will finish, while the others will lie in ruins.

The new Mustang V6 isn't much slower than the Nismo 370Z - they sure made a huge improvement in that car.

The Cayman S is considerably faster than the 370Z - not as close as Nissan wants it to be.

iirc the 370 is supposed to compete with the base Cayman?

im gonna guess if they test it next year the 2012 GT-R will move the GT-R's rank from 10th (that they tested back in 08) to about 6ish

There are some bada$$ cars on that list.

For reference, when they tested the 370Z Nismo, they had some brake problems and crashed the car. So that 370Z time isn't representative of what if can do.

Too bad they didn't get one to re-test in their updated runs...

I agree with you about the new GT-R. I think the Boss 302R is going to lay down a 2:59 to 3:01.

IIRC they actually ran it for a while and already got some hot runs in before they crashed it.

Fact remains they didn't get to complete their stint...

Also surprised that the Z06 is quicker than the Porsche turbo S.

The Z06 that was ran this year is a Z07 which I believe is basically the ZR1 brakes/suspension/etc. but in a Z06.
