8 months later...(PICS) of Bats GTR

Guess I've been enjoying this one so much, I never got around to taking pics of it for the last 8 months that I've owned it :D. It's an 2010 model, and mods so far include: AEPerformance Y-Pipe, AAM Cold Air Intake, Eibach Springs, Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser, Downforce Carbon Fiber Lip Spoiler and ofcourse all my Vinyl work: which include matte black hood, roof, and rear overlay. I'm contemplating wrapping the whole car but not sure what color yet ;). Smoked Turns and Reverse Overlays( I've tried different variations including redout turns, amber turns, lighter smoke for both reverse and turns. I like this combo best.) I overlayed all by R badges in Blue ofcourse :D. I've got a set of 360Forged Concave 5's on order that I'll have done in Dark Gunmetal Centers, Matte Black Lip, Metallic Blue Pinstripe. Similar paint scheme that I had on my wheels built for my last Viper. Enjoy the pics!

update: I've decided to hold off from doing the full wrap for now. Instead, I've wrapped the trunklid, redid the lines on c-pillar wrap, and in the process of wrapping my wing. I also removed the silver accent pieces on the bumper. I'll relace them with dark gunmetal, to match up with the lower rear valence. Here are a few pics before I remount the wing. a couple of the pics were taken through my 2nd story window, thus the reflection. Enjoy.

the front looks great!

Xan 12-15-2010 04:20 PM

Great looking car!

I would take off the rear bumper black out though... But love the hood and roof!

zman1910 12-15-2010 04:30 PM

^Gotta agree. IMO everything looks great but the rear bumper. The GT-R is hottt without a spoiler. Awesome job!

Bat - do you have any side shots of the car w/o the spoiler?

Bluebatmobile 12-15-2010 04:51 PM

I'll take some and post up tomorrow or Friday ;).

Great..thanks. Quick question....Is the vinyl covering the spoiler bolt holes? Is it a fairly standard procedure to remove the spoiler?

Bluebatmobile 12-17-2010 08:28 AM

Makes wrapping hella easier! But lemme tell you, removing the base from the trunklid was a pita!

I Have to give a special shout out to Joseph at Wheel Executives, and Scott at 360forged for the quality customer service! Wheels are finished in gunmetal centers, matte black lip and metallic blue pinstripe. I've got a set of Swift springs on order to replace my Eibach Pro's. That'll close the wheel gap a bit in the rear , so both front and rear will be 1" in drop, vs Eibachs .8 up front and .5 in the rear. Enjoy!

Maybe it's just me and I mean no disrespect (this is just purely my opinion)...but that is no longer a good looking GTR.

Bluebatmobile 02-08-2011 03:12 PM

The great thing about vinyl is that it can be removed anytime. I like the look for now :).

AlphaSnacks 02-08-2011 04:08 PM

I'd remove the rear vinyl and leave the rest, it'll look great then. But as long as it suits you and that's what you were aiming for.

Though, I'm not sure how I feel about the rims either.

Red__Zed 02-09-2011 11:26 AM

Looks pretty good. Not really feeling the vinyl on the rear, but hey, it's not my car.

Rest of the car looks great!

Bluebatmobile 02-09-2011 04:11 PM

I love the car, are you going to do any turbo upgrades?

Bluebatmobile 02-14-2011 04:31 PM

Probably will do a cobb access port next. Turbo upgrade, maybe.

I was thinking that MY imaginary GT-R looks even better! It has more mods, too! :icon17:

Looks good Andy! Try to obey those little white signs with the numbers on them

Bluebatmobile 02-28-2011 04:29 PM
