That blue is sex.
SO MUCH! nicer than Gray. Or grey. Or...any other slight variation of the theme.

Going to admit here, if the new GT-R was as affordable as a new Z06, I would have bought one instead and just learned to deal with the autotragic. I love how they look. Saw one in person at the (gasp!) Ford dealership that someone had (wtf?) traded for a GT500. Very nice and pix don't do them justice.

Is "R" mode in this capacity new for 2012? That sounds like it's full of win.

yes and no.... yes as its its own function now to launch the car its not really "new" just revised improved and endorsed...

but no in the sense that all models previous would do something similar

Still nice to see it endorsed for that purpose.

I bet the wait is killing you! :) (I know it'd be killing me)

BTW, might have missed it earlier, but do you have any idea how many black ed vs premium's are slated for the states?

Nissan internally told their dealers to expect 748 Premiums 403 Blacks.... not sure if that will end up being a little high or low....

yup i had the nismo #33 like the first week they came out(loved it)....i plan to keep the black edition for a good while man ... with the special interior the DRL's and the specV wheels it really is like the perfect GTR to me. love my current GTR obviously but the changes are a pretty big deal atleast to me and finally offering a black edition is really cool.. so i have to jump on this one... so far the stars have all aligned just right.. i got probably the best deal on one in the whole country and my car is still holding strong value wise so it looks like im going to be able to pull it all off again somehow...

i would take having a special version like this just stock and enjoying it as is than a 1K HP GTR anyday, so yeah i will say that i will keep it until a R36 GTR is out

but if for some reason that never materializes here in the US then i will be holding on to this car for a long long while as i cant see my self in anything but a GTR

so the countdown is on hopefully it will be here in a little over 2 months :driving:

Thanks for the info. So, around 1150 cars total for the year? Do you think they'll be able to move them all or are we going to see a repeat of 2009/2010?

well im seeing a good bit of initial demand on the owners club site but thats sort of skewed obviously and might not reflect whats going on at some local dealer in some random town in middle usa......

but i think they will mostly be spoken especially if that total falls on the shorter side of 1100.... but you are always going to have dealers dont want to deal and those cars will obviously sit and be available for a while..
.....

from what i can tell the cars that are actually being sold on average the sale price of premium is about 2K over invoice and the black editions are holding closer to MSRP..... but thats outside of california... MSRP or more for the black is what looks to be going on there...
