I was thinking about that. Just buy out the civic or give it back when it's done and get a "beater" but I don't want to deal with maintaining and fixing a car all the time. Kind of a gamble. And I would be in the beater 90% of the time. I think I'd be miserable lol.

Not a big fan of the looks. I respect the performance of both these cars, but it seems to me like going backwards in comfort, like these two would be solely on the performance side and not much luxury to it.

I was gonna say the G, but you can't go wrong with the BMW, pretty hard choice

wilsonp 11-03-2010 12:12 PM

That's why suggested the SVX - something AWD and sporty, don't know about reliability.

Trading both, the G37 seems like the better choice. 50% winter just isn't a good location for sports cars.

I went and checked out the BMW and the interior of that car just doesn't scream luxury to me. I'm really not impressed and it doesn't come with anything you have to add leather to it, add heated seats, add this add that. I think BMW is off my list lol.

get the 335xi!
you wont regret that
Boltons + Tune = rape M3

IS 250 is nice:tup:

dang370z 11-07-2010 10:16 PM

I was going to say an IS too but if you want power then a 350 will be better. It may not be as powerful as the 335i and G37 but its more comfy.

Check out the Infiniti FX50S!
That thing halls asses and is a beast!
It is pricey...
I understand that you want comfort and that performance is a +...
And since you're in PA you would need a AWD with 4 seats.
Most coupes will no be comfortable although the G37x is nice.
Maybe look into FX35's or 40's. Since the 50 is expensive!

ThoriumHotdog 11-07-2010 10:36 PM

is350 is nice too.

I ended up going with an Infiniti G37x w/Premium Package and Navi in Red with Black leather. Since I get a VPP(Vehicle Purchase Program) discount through my work I get the car at below invoice. And the lease deal was so much better than the other cars I looked at. Had a 60% residual. And that wouldn't even have mattered. The EXACT car I built on the Infiniti website was sitting there in the showroom and as soon as I saw it, I knew that was the car for me :D Thanks for all the suggestions guys but it looks like I'm a Nissan fanboy lol.

Nice congrats... but dont discredit BMW ... 335xi with Premium Cold Weather and Nav is a gorgous car inside and out...

But I think you made the right decision.

Fooch 11-09-2010 08:14 AM

I can't get over the "a la cart" way you buy a BMW. It barely comes standard with anything. I can't believe it doesn't come standard with leather like all the other ones do. I can't believe I have to buy the cold weather package to get fold down seats, I don't like that I have to put the key fob IN the dash to use the push button start, the gauges are really old and ugly looking. The leather isn't nearly as nice as others I've sat in(Acura TSX, Infiniti G37, Lincoln MKZ, etc) I just was not impressed with the inside of the BMW. and it was the most expensive out of all the cars equally equipped by FAR. I don't think I'll ever own one it seems like they add a $10k status symbol tax to the car lol

JACKPAC 11-09-2010 10:38 AM

You picked the best one out of the list I think. One other problem with BMW and Audi is the additional cost of ownership. BMW does come with a free maintenance period, but as soon as that's over you'd be paying out the nose for HPFP issues and direct injection problems with either BMW or Audi.
