Just got confirmation that your answer was actually correct, I thought the owner said it was a S2k engine but my buddy correctly heard it was an Sti. :tup:

actually its not an sti motor which would be a 2.5 (us spec):tup:...more than likely a 2.0 ltr from japan...very common in sand cars, bugs..etc.

i usually try to attend the japanese classic car show in Long Beach every year but missed this one...talk about some sick cars!!

I was planning on going to JCCS as well and I should have gone.

This particular meet is the first Friday of every month at the In-N-Out parking lot in the Torrance Crossroads from 7pm to 10pm. I've been to the past 3 meets and it's pretty cool.

oh ok i know where that is...lots of nice ol skool cars in the southbay..

Yeah totally, I had no idea but it makes sense since Nissan, Toyota, and Honda all had main offices in Torrance at one point.

On a side note, have you been to our Cerritos monthly meet before?
