wow! that's a beautiful G!

Looks decent, love the wheels.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned how small the wheel gap is. The wheel gap on the coupe is massive compared to the convertible. But I'm sure the production car will have massive wheel gap.

Not a fan... the convertible looks waaay worse than the coupe IMO

Damn... I gotta test drive a coupe version of this. I'm a cream in my pants. You know this really sucks! Everytime I try to plunge into a Z. The G always does something to make me stay G. They are claiming a more aggressive driving experience. Maybe that extra 18hp will make it feel more like a Z? Also since they didn't add an extra 200lbs of kit like the "NISMO" the boost in hp might actually show in acceleration times??? My question is? How much? I bought my G at a $7k year end discount. I'm not even tryin to pay close to $50k for any nissan!!! Paying over $42k for a G or over $38k for a Z is ludacris. At the $45k range I would start going porsche or audi.

2011 Infiniti IPL G Coupe priced from $47,950 - Autoblog
The above link states $48,000. If this is a fully loaded G with ipl treatment. Then 48 isn't terrible. But I still wouldn't pay more than $45k for the ipl. Again. Going higher, there's too much german comp. PS BMW sux. PORSCHE AUDI RULES! |

Damn I got stats on the tire size n its a huge disappointment. As usual, nissan is throwing on tires that are way too thin on performance oriented and sports cars. The G37ipl tires are 8.5f x 9.0r. That's really small for the level of performance upgrades. At bare minumum it should be as wide as a sport package Z. The nismo size tires would be more fitting for a car with a 112" wheelbase. The 370z is the only car they ever got tire size right. Though the 370z base can use .05" wider ar the rear. The sport and nismo are perfect.
2011 Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) G Coupe with 348HP Officially Revealed - Carscoop Nissan really needs to learn one lesson!!! LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS! If they did, they wouldn't make great cars then put stupid redundant flaws on every new entry. Its starting to make nissan look corny. This tire issue has been mentioned from performance versions of sentras to altimas all the way up to the G. NISSAN, GET YOUR TIRE SIZE RIGHT! |
