thank god I never had an interest in the SRM because i'd probably have issues adjusting as well. But i'll say this, the Getrag transmission in my 5.0 blows the Z tranny away, smooth as butter and the clutch engage point is superb. The car honestly drives like a luxury car with more balls, Ford added sound deadening material to the undercarriage for 2011 and you cant hear anything in the cab until you get on it. I cant wait for those magnaflow muffler deletes

How come neither of you fellas opted for the Gun Rack and Confederate Flag options? Are those cheaper aftermarket? lol jk

And separating TC and stability control is awesome, too! |

You can turn one or the other on, turn one or the other off, or turn them both completely off, supposedly sport mode will allow you to shred the tires and keep your car in the straight line if it starts to get away from you, i can see how that would be beneficial at the drags. And yeah, the baby blind sport mirrors are the shiznit! |
Great comparo of the new 5.0 and M3. I think I remember reading a while back that the blue oval folks benchmarked the M3's on trakc performance for the new GT, looks like they succeeded.

Here's the video.

same 60 times and a better 1320 for 1/3 the price... seems a shrewd buy for anyone really.

for the money yea..no brainer ...I would take the Mustang..in fact thinking of getting one of these or the NEW Boss 302 which come out next yr.. unbelieveable how good Ford made this 2011's the GT is the bomb...I believe it about it being that close to performance like the beemer..driven both and its that close..

OK, to sum up you can buy an M3 ...or...a Mustang GT AND a 370Z.
:D Another nice thing about the Mustang is that it can run on 91 or 87 octane, the engine auto adjusts and according to Ford, you go from 412 to something like 405 HP (not a bad penalty at all). |
Z and the M3 are better looking IMO. But damn... id give up some sexy for some M3 killing straight line performance. Anyone else suddenly feeling the need for some backseats ?

^^ hah well... that didn't really come to me as that big of a surprise. Considering your name and all! I always loved my 2000 GT, but i just know if i throw down on a 5.0, a 400Z TT will be released with 500hp :crying:

If they gave us a 560Z with the 5.6L I probably wouldn't be leaving for a Mustang. :D FWIW, I'm named after a WWII aircraft. :icon17: |

I wish I could get my wife to come around to liking Mustangs, but she is dead set against them. I'd trade the G37 in tomorrow if she would approve.

I don't agree with everything in the interior, but I'd definitely say the premium package GTs feel like your average luxury car. They are very nicely built. |
