Yeah I'm sure the driver was sore the day after. That's a pretty hard hit.

The Evo performance Mustang is beast. That looks like it did some damage, though! Time for a wheelie bar. :icon17:

According to Evo, it only blew out a shock and dented the oil pan, both easy fixes, crazy though for how hard that thing hit, and yes, time for a wheelie bar

Wow they got away very lucky then!

Definitely could have been worse. Although I've replaced two oil pans in my day, so maybe I should stfu

No telling what was stressed, and will break later though.

Going up in a hard wheelie can be terrifying. You really hope the rear tires are
Properly inflated and all that....

well, they are a professional shop, so one would assume they have plenty cashola and mechanics experience to fix whatever issues may arise down the road, I think they also had to replace the engine mounts as well. But yeah, you'd think they'd have a wheelie bar on a car that runs 10's...

Sure they can afford to fix it-- it's just unnecessary expense-- in terms of cash, as well as time and stress. Especially if stressed items start going bad close to a major event or whatever. It's just an avoidable issue...

That said, I ran no wheelie bar on my S, and that f'er ran 9's...

So I installed my axle-backs last night and the sound is awesome. I'll try to get some video tonight.

I love the Mustang but it is very civil compared to the Z. Even if the Z is slower it still feels more exciting in certain respects because you feel more involved.

I'm sure the new BOSS 302 will be a COMPLETELY different animal and probably put the Z to shame, but even though we lack almost 100hp to the GT the Z is still awesome in it's own right.

The GT doesn't match the feel of the Z in any respect... it's not a sports car, plain and simple. If you want the sports car feel... Z all the way. If you want muscle with lots of room to improve... GT for sure.

My problem is I want them both and at this time I can't have them both... and as diehard a Ford guy I am I don't know if I'm willing to part with the Z so I can get into the GT.

But damn I hate the VQ... I want more power.

buy a vette sports car feel with the power and mind of a muscle car ultimate man's car hands down

The Corvette just isn't my kind of car. Maybe when I turn 45 I'll check one out. ;)
