Seriously, gotta give props where it's due. Ford did a fantastic job and I would gladly rent one for the weekend!:driving:  |
I've owned five Fords and my wife has a Focus, they've all been great vehicles and I'll probably own a Mustang if they have a good refresh in 2012 or 13.

Red, I would do the sound tube mod. It sounds a lot throatier now in the cockpit. It will definitely hold me over until I choose an exhaust setup.
Gotta love the sound deadening in this car, though. A welcome change from the road noise galore in the Z. |

I honestly think the stock exhaust sounds great. It's perfect for a stock car. I only want it a tad louder, so I will be going Bassani. |

As far as that sound tube mod, it sounds incredible now, definitely a noticeable difference, I dont think pulling the one from the engine bay would be a good idea, its plenty loud with one removed. |

My FIs were a little loud for my tastes. I guess I'm getting older. :icon17: |

get down and look up under the furthest left you can under the dash against the fire wall, you should see a hole up there, its further left than all the wiring harnesses, its open, there isnt a plug, all you have to do is pull the insulation out and voila, done. How did you get the one out of the engine bay? I wouldnt mind trying that later, like, where is the insulation located? |
