I'll snap up some other pics this weekend.. The interior is very very nice. The Microsoft Sync system is as good as people say. Finally something I can plug my Zune in.. ;)

The 6.2L isn't as impressive as I thought it would be. Stepping from my 5.4L powered Fx4 to the Raptor is an upgrade in power, but not to the level expected. Maybe my butt-o-meter isn't sensitive enough in a 6000lb vehicle. If Whipple ships a supercharger kit for the 6.2L, I'll be all over it.

mrcardio 08-06-2010 03:50 PM

That thing is badass!! Congrats :tiphat:

I'd love to see / hear it with a supercharger installed!

Waiz 08-06-2010 04:37 PM

Congrats, those things are beasts!!

Great Raptor man! I used to have a F250 Harley Davidson Edt. Those Raptors are sick

Cmike2780 08-06-2010 09:21 PM

That lift is pretty cools also. Is it hydraulic?

Much more low tech than that - check this:

KwikLift set up instructions

Was thinking of getting this lift myself but was trying to find some reviews on it. Please do a write up after using it to let us know how you like it. Is that the roughly 1500 dollar one? Also how tall are those arms? Trying to figure out how much clearance under the car it gives you.

Nice truck too.

Nice truck too.

$1800 to my door with shipping and the oil pan..

It lifts the vehicle about 20 inches up.. So, depending on the vehicle, 2-2 1/2 feet off the ground for the chassis. The company claims this is the right height when working off a creeper which sounds right to me. I'll know soon enough.

SmoothZ 08-07-2010 02:08 PM

Mark? Aren't you supposed to be setting it up so you can change the oil in the R35?

Oil is good for another 1500, but I do have some parts to install..

very cool!

CBRich 08-08-2010 02:51 PM

So does the Kwiklift seem pretty secure? Something about the design seems very "fall on ya" to me.

The lift is over 500lb and very very solid.

racerxj17 08-11-2010 03:51 AM

how do you like the truck? i am strongly considering trading the 370z in for one......living by myself demands more capacity/storage than the 370z offers......

LOVE the truck. The ride is so surpisingly smooth in normal use.

Gas mileage is very poor - I'm getting 13MPG in mixed commuting.

Where are you in so-cal? If you are in San Diego anytime soon, I'll give you a ride.
