for some reason I just cant see 190hp and 130 ft./lbs being "fast"... those cars also dont make power with NA mods, you'll have to boost it to feel anything, and then again theres the fact that its FWD... boooooring.

Well considering you already have a Z, i recomend the integra. Friend has a type R, its very quick and spirited. Fun to drive

The Integra GSR is the #1 stolen car in the US and the insurance is high. This is because the GSR has the VTEC engine and other parts/componenets that are compatible with the Civics.

So I would get a simple 240 for DD and don't worry about getting it stolen and insurance.

240 hands down......why noit a 300zx though?

Didnt say fast, but quick. The blocks can make up to 300 whp with NA mods, but even in stock form they are great to drive. Just because its fwd does not mean its boring, these cars are always great on track days and can keep up with the proper driver. One of the best engineered fwd cars, they can pull .92 g on the skidpad, which is pretty much up to par with what we drive. Obviously you have never driven one.
Then again i think a 240 is also a soild choice for a fun car, easy to mod, rwd, and cheap

240sx FTW! Even with my new nismo, the 240 left a void which cant be filled. The fact that it is a raw rear wheel 4 banger with no electronic gizmos to hold you back, leaves a nostalgic feel that stays with you.

Yeah in generally of course RWD is the way to go but there are plenty of FWD cars just as / more capable and plenty fun to drive. And it's not just about outright HP, power to weight ratio and gearing are more important.

thinking about getting a integra gsr for now. And if I find out I dont really like it, I will sell it and get a 240. What do you guys think?

Windex_ 07-20-2010 04:36 AM

This is the way I see it.... would you have more fun on a bicycle or a tricycle. fwd or rwd is really the biggest thing to decide on.

:iagree: people who say fwd cars are boring, usually end up not having driven fun ones like the integra.

if your gonna go FWD, get a sentra with a SR20 or a 200sx. 240's are played out already, i highly doubt you'll find a low mile 240. I was on zilvia the other day and some retard wanted $10k for a 1990 240sx with 60k miles.
