Cube

Ya the Nissan Cube.. We currently have a POS Jeep Cherokee with no AC and wierd electrical issues.. getting tired of daily driving that thing in/out of downtown Chicago everyday..

We saw one on the road the other day.. since then the wife and I have been thinking of getting rid of the Jeep and getting the Cube as our daily.. Anyone here have one? If so I'd love to hear some opinions on it..

It looks right at home in Bikini Bottom.

I test drove the cube and all I can say is that you shouldn't get it, try getting a Rogue or Murano because those two have better ride quality and it is better for a daily driver.

lol ya it is kinda square.. but i've always like the look of the XB's for some reason.. but would prefer to stay in the Nissan family..

I had a Murano the first year it came out.. I don't really need anything that big.

Also I remember reading a review that someone wrote about there is a big difference between the 1.8S and 1.8SL as far as ride quality.. do you remember which one you test drove?

This is i think your best bet for what you are looking for and it is pretty fun to drive and has a lot of room

actually the honda Fit has more usable room inside. i know cause ive been in the new pikachu character looking Mazspeed3 and the rear seating area was considerably smaller than my Fit or the new xB's actually. id be a pita if you have child seats/boosters in the back.

i think for dd the Fit does well, but definitely get the MT version. i have both MT and AT and the AT is frikken boring to drive.

lol, Josh, they're just so cute. It's like one day they're gonna grow up and be mounted on a "weal wace caw". :bowrofl:

Sorry, couldn't resist.

On topic, tho, I've heard that Cubes are pretty nice for cartin' around in. Good mileage, relatively spacious.

Josh@STILLEN 06-17-2010 04:54 PM

little parts for a little car!

Actually, you should hear the intake.. it really makes the Cube sound mean. And goes.. well.. a little bit faster.. it's no rocketship.. :D

Or a Honda Fit, maybe a Scion XA or XB... That gave me a Cube for a rental, OMG!!!

YouTube - smart car with Hayabusa engine at 200mph

I couldn't resist, but in all honesty this would be the only way I'd get something relatively economical.
