"55 Again" Photoshoot - 4/3/10
this past weekend over Easter i went home to visit with the family. my dad decided it would be a good time for me to get some shots of his father's '55 Bel Air. he also wanted a few shots of him with the car so please just ignore those :) also, when dad bought this car for papaw, it was fire engine red and pearl white. papaw has since had it painted the original (albeit a bit dull) colors that his '55 bel air was back then. more of an orange-ish red and a really light tan, not solid white.
album (note that for now it is hidden from the main page since my family checks my site frequently and only a few know about this shoot): '55 Bel Air Photoshoot 4/3/10 - JPMcG Photography favs: 1. http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...8_fvLuG-XL.jpg 2. http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...5_QThhc-XL.jpg 3. http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...8_zAye9-XL.jpg 4. http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...9_aeXVT-XL.jpg 5. http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...1_kQniq-XL.jpg 6. http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...3_Eg4kx-XL.jpg 7. http://jpmcgphotography.smugmug.com/...3_Atp46-XL.jpg C&C welcome as always!:tiphat: |
Looks nice, love that color combo
So it's not hugger orange? or international orange? The seats look comfy too. Friend's dad had a 55 like that, but it had one-piece power windows, a TPI motor, and a Raptor tranny :yum: EDIT: Just remembered that I have a friend working on a sweeeeeeeeeeeeet custom chevy. I'll see if he'll allow me to post some pics and stats. Might be a secret project, not sure. |
no the color ends with "red" in the name, i can't remember the exact wording though. i'd love to see the "project" i've got a soft spot for 55-57 chevy's
